Been playing with sizes and fit and printing prototypes to see what works and what does not. The quality on these is dirty since I am mostly focusing on fit and seeing what makes the most sense. The black one is the latest and closest to final size and fit, need to alter the nose area and make it slightly longer and we should have a working model very soon. Once I figure out the sizing I should be able to start printing the finished masks in resin.

Thanks to everyone who bid on this puppy. We will continue posting at least one auction a month. Using auctions to help train Rosco on glueing heads and helping me with finish work. Expect a Gshep next and a tiger a lion right after that.

Selling the only version of this hyena head base printed in plastic. It’s pretty light for the size. Was printed in 2 parts and connected. White foamie was added to make up for the missing plastic the slicer cut wrong. This head is meant to have the nose painted and furred. Please do not make copies to sell or duplicate. I do not plan to print this mask again in the future so it will remain as one of a kind. One size fits all.

Trying to find the best fit so we can come up with at least 2 main sizes. One being a s/m and and L/XL. Current size was a bit too short from the nose bridge to the chin so want to print another size giving it more space in those areas. We want the masks to be comfy so finding sizes that work best will take a few test prints. Printing halves to avoid wasting materials before printing a full test print.

Started as a basic idea and evolved since yesterday into a usable model....and more teeth. Unlike the cloth masks which all I need to do is create a piece of artwork I have been dabbling with the idea of a 3D printed face mask in the shape of an animal muzzle. Wanted to create a prototype with a feline muzzle simply because cat muzzles are shorter so my idea might be easier to replicate this way. Been tinkering with an idea for a small suit head, good for partials and printable. Ideally when I get the large resin 3D printer I’ll be able to print as either one piece or 2. I want to tackle making the eyes in a very different manner being able to give them shine. Want to go with more of a Pixar like eye and paint the iris with a metallic paint so it shines from different angles. Do plan to print prototypes with my current printers to change anything I need before I go full resin.
Decided to re print the happy dog I was offering only in a large head size in a more manageable size. These new ones will be available later this month. If you are interested be sure to respond back to get a feel in interest 😊.
