Liz and I did some revisions on Tapia's family (sorry Grandma, there wasn't too much we found we could do with you).  We decided that Tapia's parents were forced to return to their country of origin, leaving the sisters in the care of their uncle, Oskar, a long-time denizen of St. Charlies neighbor Bradydale.

I'll probably go public with this info soon, but I figured I would lay it out for you Patrons first, because I like you best (no lie).  I did not last long at all in the Graduate program.  I set one foot back in school and it ripped my leg off at the pelvis, chewed me up, spit me out, and set my remains on fire.  I will not be getting my Masters degree at this time.  Or maybe ever.  Nice try, Kae.

When I was younger, bi people existed in media to be sex maniacs whose egregious lust couldn't be satiated by just one measly lover.  Nowadays we have bi panic, bi anxiety, bi isolation.  Heartening to see they've caught up with the rest of us, neurosis-wise.

Short Stories: Riley And Ryleigh

Ri and Ry are around 20 years old here.  When they first came out as queer, Ryleigh was rather preoccupied with presenting femme and pretty.  There's certainly nothing wrong with that, but in their case it revolved around personal insecurities.  It also took them a while to admit that they loved Riley.  Ryleigh would eventually come out as nonbinary in middle age.
