The Key

Whimsy can be stressful and maddening to space travelers, especially those dealing with magic. It is common for ships to have an assigned Whimsy Expert to handle these sort of things. While it is not Isaac's official role on the ship, he's more than happy to use his knowledge of the Whimsical Arts to handle the occassional wacky magical hijinx and supernatural japery the gang might come across.

The Cookies

The guard was exaggerating. The guys' reaction to the cookies were lukewarm at best.

The Hack

The second closest attempt at Space Dread's life was done by an assassin named Teqrik Astoki, who disguised herself as Space Dread's hat for several weeks to study her daily routine and weaknesses. Unfortunately, Space Dread does her laundry with plasma fabric softener, to which Astoki was deathly allergic. She died in Dread's washing machine.

The Lie

Doris left her improv module at home. She had only been using it to play SpoutHunters, a Tabletop Roleplaying game where you take the role of a space whaler. Her character is Sorma Willems, a Cyborg Harpoonist whose parents were killed by a raging AstrOrca. She is in a relationship with Minnow's character; Osrot Drie, a Rogue Marine Biologist who is looking for the Starwhal who escaped her aquarium.

They haven't played in a month because Sally, their DM, has exams.

The Inspector

Dread got that barista uniform from when she went undercover as a barista to assassinate a coffee-loving mob boss. She tried to poison him by giving him ultra-caffeine, but it ended up accelerating his mind so much that he transcended his mortal body and became a being of pure energy. This was not part of the plan, but he became too busy experiencing all of existence at once to be a mob boss anymore, so Dread still got paid in the end.

The Vault

Despite what the commercials say, Cyclone Citrus Extreme Mana Potion does not actually grant its user any more mana than the average mana potion. Isaac only drank one because he had a bottle lying around that he got for free during a magic fun run he took part in once.

The event was to raise funds to research Glyns Disease, an extremely rare disease named after its sole sufferer, Arto Glyns, CEO of the Extreme Mana Corporation.

Slime-Man: One More Ooze, the comic book arc, was poorly received among comic book fans for killing off Slime-Ma'am, and having Slime-Man trade his goo for her life with Slime-Dan, his arch-nemesis. Decoy Spell

Bunzel B. Bunzel was Isaac's old lab partner from Wizard College.  The two did a presentation on the effects of Chloromancy on the environment. Isaac did most of the work, while Bunzel appointed himself as an "idea man." The title meant nothing in the context of the study, but Isaac did not mind working mostly by himself.

Trirl

Punchmaster 3: Kickguru's Revenge featured a co-op mode where Punchmaster teams up with Mrs. Punch, his girlfriend. Despite not being married, she was still a "Mrs." which was due to a mistranslation in the original game. The name was so iconic, however, that they decided to keep her name.

The two remained unmarried until Punchmaster VI. Their wedding featured a very challenging QTE that most players fail on the first try. The segment was poorly received.

Name?

Isaac did not win the Sentient Bread Contest, for his bread only achieved Level 2 Sentience (singing and dancing), while the average is Level 5 (reaching the bronze age).

Act Natural

Grix Draro, a twelve-legged insect man, gained fame when a magazine featured a photograph of him acting nonchalantly as a black hole consumed his planet's atmosphere. He became known as an expert in acting naturally during stressful times, speaking in seminars on the subject around the galaxy. 

Dread downloaded his self-help audiobook and managed to listen to two chapters before falling asleep. She never picked it up again.

Digital Store

The Punchmaster Trilogy Collection removed a sidequest in Punchmaster 3: Kickguru's Revenge where Punchmaster must save his girlfriend's nephew from an evil group of zombie congressmen. It was deemed too political by the new publisher, and was replaced by a sidequest where Punchmaster must save his girlfriend's nephew from an evil group of zombie non-congressmen.
