song preview: cassia (syrup 2)

another remix this week! since i finished putting cassia in syrup 2, i wanted to make a song for her. it's lucky thimble from charm studies, with a couple parts added to fit in with the rest of syrup 2's soundtrack better haha. i miiight extend it a little to smooth out the transition in the loop, but this will be what you hear in the next wip build. that'll be coming as soon as i finish writing the rest of the new scenes i had planned..! woo!!!

i'm still on my syrup 2 kick. i want to try to make a WIP build sometime in the next couple months. but yeah, anyway, i started drawing the different memo paper!!! here's what it looks like ingame:

anyway i was looking through my new syrup 2 songs to find something to share, and a lot of them are still too early in the WIP stage... but this one's alright! it's an arrangement of a treat song that i really like actually. i'm glad i can reuse it to suit one of the villains in the game :) she doesn't have a lot of scenes but she certainly leaves an impact hehehe...

dev diary: fixing syrup 2's request system

more syrup 2 updates this week!

ok to explain the screenshot above: please ignore that there are 4 copies of the same quest. it's because i forgot to turn the event off where it gives you the quest so it was just doing it every day.

the important part is, now instead of giving multiple of the same item... you can give an assortment of sweets!!!!! this original quest (for example) needed 3 of the orange gummies. but whenever i playtested, i realized i wasn't doing these quests at...

dev diary: surprise, it's a syrup 2 update

um... ok so yknow how i've been saying "i wanna finish treat this year!!!! syrup 2 is delayed!!!!!!" well i'm really bad at following my own plans. syrup 2 has been sitting untouched for long enough that it became extremely easy to work on, so i'm taking advantage of this motivation to polish up what's there and fill out things that were missing. it feels really good to make progress on this game and i'm having a lot of fun, but i feel a little bit guilty too, because i SHOULD be spending thi...

another piece of candy: vinegar comics

usually i drop the rough versions of these in my monthly art posts, but i have two storylines ready to go so it felt like a decent amount of content for a sneak peek :)

the first set will be weekly updates starting on wednesday, titled "this is her day now"

the second set is something i drew back in november (title: "let's watch the past"), but i wanted to give vinegar more time to be a regular cast member before dropping a heavier/plot-y series. maybe i can post it later this yea...

BAD END THEATER physical edition

hello patrons!!! i am still on vacation so i apologize for the lack of fanfare with this cool update...

i partnered with Turtle Pals Tapes to make a physical edition of BAD END THEATER!! they do a lot of game soundtracks, and i thought it would be really awesome to make BET CDs... but they were also able to put the game on the disc!!! so if you pop it in your computer you can play the game, wowee!!!!!!
