This was far and away our most popular meme contest, and it was very hard to choose a winner. But congrats to these two! The tweet (by Trys) was the audience pick and Lionel Hutz (by Michael Mordenga) was the judges! Congratulations!
Here's a link to a gallery of all the great entries.
If you won please email 372pages@gmail.com or send us a Patreon message and we will get the prizes to you.

Ernest Cline's runaway best seller continues to disgust and annoy us, even as it approaches the home stretch. In this episode we wrap up the seemingly endless John Hughes quest by meeting an actual John Hughes NPC (not actually John Hughes). Then we're off to Halcydonia, where we all try to pretend that Zoobilee Zoo wasn't a terrifying TV show. Then it's off to the Prince Planet, where our characters alternate between weeping about their abusive childhoods and trying to go hump things at virt...

We've read enough of Cline's latest that it's time to see your finest RP2 memes. If you've participated before, you know the drill. If not, here's how it works:
1. Create a Ready Player Two meme
2. Post a link to it in the comments
3. Come back and vote on your favorites!
We'll pick two winners: a judges' favorite, and an audience favorite (whoever gets the most likes). In the past we've awarded a TOKEN CASH PRIZE, but lately people have been declining the prize, so th...

We've been buried under a tidal wave of great fanfic for this book so now it's Mike's turn to grill Conor on five tricky entries. Can he top Mike's impressive and frankly unexpected 4/5 in this week's episode? Tune in and find out!

Conor states with confidence that this episode contains a chapter that is the dumbest and therefore the greatest of any that has been covered by 372 Pages!
The editor has taken her hand off the tiller and what we're getting now is pure, uncut Cline. That means level-by-level coverage of a video game, stupid-by-stupid vignettes of classic 80s movies like Heat and Curly Sue and, just for fun, a fuel bomb explosion that slaughters dozens of innocents in ...

It's a Christmas miracle! Way back when we hit 500 patreon supporters, we decided to write a collective book together. Now Mike and I have spent the past couple weeks recording chapters of it here and there when we had spare time. And now, seven months and over 200 more Patreon supporters later, we present this complete audiobook of Washington E.T.
Thanks again to all of you for sticking us and supporting the podcast during what was often a dull, depressing, and/or difficult ye...

In this segment, Conor & Bob speak to Beauregard Bonne Volonté, who as a child appeared in the notorious film Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny. After countless pages of Worldbuilding and freeing child slaves when our hero felt like it, Ernest Cline finally lets some things happen in this section. The action kicks off when a Gunter and a Sharter listen to a Morissey song in silence and it doesn't let up from there! By the time we're done, there's been a kidnapping, a shareholder's meeting, and the rollout of a new firmware update. Also, Cline introduces his most annoying tic yet: telling us information again that he just told us

Ready Player Two? Let me ask that again; Ready Player Two?! I don't think you are!!
But Conor and Mike are ready. Having only an evening to read the first few chapters, here are some questions addressed:
- Did you have "faint numbness" with your previous rig? Solved!
- Could you feel "tiny craters of pulp" beneath your fingers when you crushed an apple with previous rigs? Solved!
- Were all your previous efforts in the Oasis "senseless pantomimes"? Yes, of ...

On the eve of Ready Player Two, I thought it would be fun to revisit my notes from our very first episode. I created this on 9/1/17. Main observations:
1. Wow, I take a lot more notes now! A lot more specific quotes copied and pasted from the book.
2. No DSOTWs or emails! It's much more fun to collaborate on these.
3. I don't remember at all what that list of Tom Waits characters is at the bottom.
4. I can't believe we're about to read another book that constantly uses...

The big day is tomorrow! Ready Player Two comes out. Our plan is to quickly delve into the first chapter, maybe a bit longer, and do a "first look" ep tomorrow, since it's a holiday week. Then we'll be back with a longer one next week. But we decided to make a bingo card if you're unable to resist the allure of diving deeper into the OASIS!

How em dash HOW em dash is this book not about Charlie hauling in a world record white perch, or at the very least the story of him getting a treble hook buried into his thigh? Why not page after page of Carlisle being tutored in Courtly Italian by some foppish vampire with a high starched collar?!
Nope. What we get is page after impossibly long page of Bella slurping down Toastee-Os while Edward tortures himself wondering whether her using the big spoon means that she...
