Hello everyone and welcome to a quick development blog about Rim Effect.
The work on the new module goes pretty fast. We have now added all the Reaper enemies into the game, with sounds, weapons and visual effects.
This also means we have started work on Asari weapons too.
The source material itself is quite limited, as in actual Mass Effect there is only 2 clear 'Asari' weapons: Disciple shotgun and Acolyte pistol. Let me show them below:

One of the most commonly requested features for Vanilla Factions Expanded - Settlers was tech-locking their weapons. Sadly, vanilla game does not differentiate between ‘western-style’ weapons like revolvers and M14 assault rifles - for the game, it’s all industrial weapons. If we were to white list only ‘western-style’ weapons, it wouldn’t offer enough variety - you’d constantly see raiders with revolvers, bolt action rifles and pump shotguns. That’s it. Boring isn’t it?

Vanilla Social Interactions Expanded means to bring much more needed life to your pawns and interactions they have. Hey folks what's up!
Last time we covered weapons and armors, let's now take a look at the ability system. Yes, they work great, a bit like psycasts but Mass Effect-themed, and yes, enemies can, in rare instances, use them against you.
If you're not pals with Systems Alliance faction, they can come over to you with their adepts and engineers and obliterate you. It's fun!
