Patch release announcement!

Hey guys, how was the holidays?

Well, we already have a solid date to give you for the patch release and we decided for Friday the 10th!

Surprisingly, this is turning out to be one of the biggest patches we've ever did and the patch notes are easily the biggest we've ever had. We meant to change much of the early game and we ended up changing most of the game entirely.

More changes to the early January patch

To add to the list of things we announced in the other post:

Previously, the player would be required for Ayame not to be a virgin before initiating the first swinger scenes with Dan and Adriana in order to have sex with Dan the first time. We didn't have the assets at the time when we realized Ayame could be a virgin at that point so we created that lock with the intent to change it in the future.

Christmas patch conundrum

Hey guys!

Everything on route for a patch this Friday!

Our new working method has been working wonders, we will be able to do half a dozen scenes by Friday not to mention the work we did for Steam which you guys will obviously have access to as well.

We won't get to change the 15 or so scenes in total that we wanted to change in one go, but hopefully with our new method we can fit a few here and there along with the regular scenes with the patches, always prioritizing the main scenes of course.

Teleport Puzzle

Hey guys,

So, we received a lot of "complaints" regarding the teleport puzzle. Before releasing it, I did tell Issac it was probably going to be a little hard to solve but we rolled with it, and my assumptions were right.

It is not our goal to frustrate our players. It should be challenging, but not to the point that it becomes a chore.

First of all, thank you for waiting so long for the patch. I hope the quality is an indicative of why it took us so long to make this patch. So, obviously this patch is going to come out a bit later than we were hoping to release. Delays caused by health issues in past patches keep pilling on into future patches and the development map is not going according to plan. Possible slight delay on patch

So... keeping it 100. We just realized we didn't create the bust or sprite for the main villain.

Halloween Patch Release Date

First of all, sorry for dropping it so "on top" of the day but considering the theme and what we had to build for this patch I didn't have the slightest idea when to announce it.

Small 'QOL' Hotfix

So, it was brought to our attention by the users SiriusBlack and Ere N that some scenes were too "cut off" by the text box and having to press Q to hide the text was highly undesirable. Together with their help we came up with some sort of "solution".

A new default window skin that has a higher opacity and denser frame that looks a lot better overall in menus and specially during hentai scenes.

The hotfix will ship with the next patch but regardless, you can get it right now! View Post

This is a small hotfix for the 4th Melvin scene which was showing the correct text but the wrong images despite them being in the game. It's an easy fix so just extract this DIRECTLY in the game folder and overwrite the files!

Official "state of affairs".

Hey guys,

So yeah, patch didn't come out Friday, that much is obvious.

While I was doing my best to meet the release date I kept finding stuff that apparently "was done" but wasn't, and bugs that were fixed, but weren't. That along with the last minute hentai scenes and it felt like the typical day at programming which is, plug a hole, two new ones show up.

So if you asked me when we started working on this version what was the plan and when we expected to release it, I'd say tomorrow, Friday the 30th. The deadline we gave to the sprite artist, music artist and CG artist was yesterday. Out with the old. In with the new!

Our CG room got a well needed overhaul to match our brand new gallery and it comes with an amazing soundtrack. The idea is that when you enter the CG room you revisit Ayame's memories.

Interacting with any of the characters will present you with a gallery (as seen on picture 2 in the example of interacting with Arthur for the Family Route).

Vacations were short but great to recharge energies.

We're going to adopt the same method as we did last patch. If some scene(s) is/are missing, we'll release what we have with placeholders in August and we will release the missing scene(s) shortly after.

August is here! Let's make a status update!

First of all, the team is working TIRELESSLY already for three reasons:

1- There's a Thursday holiday on August 15 so a lot of jobs will give you Friday the 16th so that's when we'll have our vacations from Wednesday night (the 14th) all the way to Sunday (the 18th) Yeah... It's not a lot but it should be enough to recharge our batteries and not cause a negative impact on the patch release date.

Hi-Rez Pack Release & Patch Extension
