I'm a reserved person, which often makes me come across as conceited. But deep down, I don't take myself too seriously.
The Bouquet deck will be the first to feature a Joker that truly represents a traditional Joker. I've always liked to keep my distance from it, because I find most Joker drawings rather bizarre. But I had somehow taken a liking to this drawing.

A few days ago I finished a drawing that I started 5 years ago. I have a great fascination for drawings that have been redrawn from a different angle. You can see from the Muffin deck that I have already implemented this idea in a deck.
I've always wanted to draw all the court cards from the other side as well, but someone beat me to it since a deck like that already exists.

I'm working on a new deck that I plan to release next year. I discovered this vintage back design from the late 1800s and instantly fell in love with it. So far, I've only managed to find two images of this deck online, making it challenging to recreate everything exactly as it was. However, similar to my approach with the Dondorf deck, I'm aiming for a balanced blend of the original design and creative freedom.

11 years ago I have drawn my own face on the King of Diamonds. Since then, hundreds more cards have followed. Over time, I’ve transformed drawing faces on court cards into my own art form. I wasn't sure if the Hotel V4s should get a gilded edition or not. Gilded editions greatly help every campaign create a strong push, but gilded USPCC decks are a little more complicated to produce. It takes about 4-6 weeks longer to produce these decks, which means I can't send them out at the same time as all the other Kickstarter rewards.

Check out the digital proofs. The printed proofs are already on their way to me because I want to be 100% sure that the color is as I imagine it. I suspect that the color will be too dark. However, I already have a solution for this. I would replace the purple CMYK color with a Pantone color. But first I'll wait and see, maybe I'll like the color on the printed proofs after all.
