Players now have a choice of game modes, easy or normal. Normal mode is the style of play in 0.0.7, where you have to balance seducing the girls quickly and killing Aureus. Easy mode returns to an earlier form of game play where once you kill Aureus, all the girls he captured become available again.
It is now possible to have up to 10 slaves, and there is a second page to accommodate the girls without over-crowding.

So, just wanted to share some of the things I'm working on... the picture above shows three characters I have assets for. The Enchantress, on the right, will be in 0.4, and the Pirate and Shield Maiden will come along later as I have time to do their renders and work out the associated coding.
The picture also shows some higher quality background assets that I'm using now. Some of the older renders have been updated and that process will continue. I'm really psyched about improving the game on...

I've been making some bug fixes and so forth while I'm waiting for my wife to get up this morning. I'm testing a variant that will let you choose between different ways to play the game. I know that some people don't like Aureus killing the girls -- to my mind it adds a sense of urgency to what you're doing, and makes your choices matter, and that's something I find desirable in a game. But not everyone is me, so there will be an option to turn that feature off.

I've mostly worked out the kinks with having more than 5 slaves, so Lucretia's Legacy is moving along on schedule or a little ahead. There's no major technical challenges in anything else I have planned for 0.0.8 so far, so there should be no problems with a January release.
An addendum to my previous post about Damsels -- I expect to have a version of that out to patrons this week, possibly as soon as tomorrow if testing goes well this evening.

Just wanted to update you on what I have going forward. Now that I've changed the way Aureus functions, the door is open for me to lift the hard limit on the number of slaves you can have. This would entail having a second page for the slave screen; it would also involve a different formula for determining your current maximum. I did a bunch of testing the last few days, and found a few bugs. Nothing show stopping, and in fact one of those bugs existed in previous versions -- I just never found it because it required a different play style to trigger. I'll be doing some more testing to make sure my fixes are working as intended.
I'm happy with Aureus's new stalking algorithm, but I do think there might be some fiddling with some of the timing, from a play balance perspective. I'm looking forward to some community fee...

It used to be that if you successfully made a girl your slave, when Aureus would have captured her, he simply captured someone else instead. I'm moving along nicely with this, and in fact perhaps my goals weren't very ambitious with this update. It has required a lot of posing and rendering time, however. I've been working on threesomes today for the new release. I love the sexiness of them, and I'm really pleased with how some of the renders are coming out. I hate how fiddly they are... posing three figures, so that they are all in the right relation to each other, is time consuming. I spent the morning running the code I'd written last week, and fixing little things, adding images where they were needed, and so forth. I won't say that I would yet call it totally tested. What I can say is that it works, and I think it's fun. Ella presents a non-trivial puzzle to be solved, and working on her makes it a little harder to accomplish everything else the player would like to do.

There is no artificial time limit on the game anymore. The game will now continue until Aureus captures all the remaining available non-enslaved women. If Aureus dies, the game will continue until you choose to end it.

I've been doing some coding for Lucretia's Legacy 0.0.5, and have added events for Sophia and Julia that become available only once you have made them your slave as well as doing some general code cleanup.
