I have gone back to chapter 22 and changed how Psychic Moves work, but it applies to all Moves.
It was too confusing, so I simplified it a lot. Most Moves are contact-based through physical contact or energy attacks with Special and Status Moves. There is no Accuracy or Evasion since evading an attack relies on the Pokemon's Speed and training.
