Welcome new Patrons! Some things you should know first

I noticed a large spike in new patrons these past 24 hours so I thought i would write a welcome post and clarify a few things that trip up new patrons.

Unlike a lot of other youtubers I charge per video, not per month. So if i release 4 videos in a month, you'll be charged 4 times in that month. I do this because some months i have no videos and charging per month for no videos would be even worse. But on the flip side you can be charged a lot more than you expect.

Clearing up some confusion about my april's fool video

I have some patrons expressing displeasure about me charging for the april's fools video about making a platinum electrode. It was a mistake to charge it and I completely agree that you shouldn't be paying for a joke. Thus the video about extracting ether and heptane from starter fluid was given as a free video and not charged to patreon. 

I deeply regret the april fools joke and won't be doing that again. My apologies.
