"Mental Burnout" pt. 1 - Intro and start of storyboarding.

Sorry, I don't have a name for this yet, maybe I can come up with something better, or maybe you guys will have some good suggestions (would be credited obviously) :-)

Let's see where this goes.

Per request: Render rig parts

Got asked in the comments to make a texted list with parts of my render rig. Even better I'll just printscreen the order list.

What's not in this list is the aluminum profiles for the rig. As mentioned in the video they come from RatRig and if you're interested in having a detailed build instruction for it I'd be happy to do so, though it's incredibly straight forward.

NOTE: One thing I learned with this build, that I never cared about before, is to always check t...

What do you want to see here on Patreon?

I want to update myself on what you guys expect to find on this Patreon channel. I do have my own agenda regardless, but I still want to know what you guys want, it helps me prioritize.

Please check multiple alternatives if it applies to you. If you're missing an alternative, please write in DM or comments.

THANK YOU! <3

Status March 2021

Hey hey hey, we're making progress. Office is complete and studio has come a long way.

I did intend to pause Patreon for another month if I couldn't finish more content but as mentioned in the video, I kind of forgot that February has less days than other months, I lagged behind. Anyhow, there's plenty of content in the coming weeks to make up for that.

I have an idea for a short movie I'll produce to get you guys up to speed on what R&D I've made past few months. I'll explain...

Handheld camera movement

Getting back to Patreon with a short but efficient video covering a requested topic: Manually faking handheld camera movement in 3Ds Max.

Super excited to move in to our new office later this week! Videos coming up about that too!

Getting the hang of this

So lately I've tried to learn a whole bunch of things that are completely new to me, regarding film production. Motion capture, character animation, motion builder, new tools in 3Ds Max, virtual camera workflows, and film-like post production.

Finally I feel that I'm actually starting to understand this and that I can actually make something good looking with what I currently have. And finally I'm starting to feel confident to share some knowledge with you.

Virtual Camera in 3Ds Max.

Even though my Patreon page is paused because I haven't produced any content this month, doesn't mean that I'm not doing anything.

The hours I have here and there, I try to be productive. My latest experiments involves figuring out a good Virtual Camera workflow. I've spent a whole lot of hours trying to get it to work using Unreal. In other words, exporting my 3D Scene to unreal, exporting characters, setting it up in unreal, recording, and sending the camera back to 3Ds Max. This pro...

Patreon paused!

Hi.

I've paused Patreon pledges for February so no funds will be deducted from anyone. This because January has been a silent month and I'm certainly not here to rip anyone off.

Patreon being paused for February is a compensation for a silent January. In Februray things will go back to normal.

I recorded an audio message explaining it but never uploaded because I felt it got a little... uhm tacky, so here's the text version:

As I've said for ...
