Just like that another month has passed. So it's well past time that I deliver the next release of Penlight!

I fell just short of my main goal this month, which was to complete the new Redemption storyline path "Spiral". I've written a complete script right up to the penultimate scene, it gets a little crazy towards the end and I think it's a pretty tough read overall, in keeping with the theme of the route, so I'm anxious to hear what people make of it.

So that's a wrap for yet another year! Wishing a Merry Christmas to all my readers and supporters, some of whom have stuck with me and Penlight for coming up to three years now. Hard to believe it's been that long :O

I think it's fair to say that 2021 kinda sucked overall, so I sincerely hope this coming year is going to be a lot kinder to all of us. I think we deserve it!

For this release I've continued trying to work out the new story path on the Redemption storyline, with some additional script and outline added since the previous early access release. The latest CG for the Gullible storyline is in this release as well, after I managed to figure out how best to present it in both the game and the CG gallery (it's a very unique size as you'll see).

Public Release 0.1558.2: Two New Endings

Hi, folks!

The main writing focus this month has been to work on some of the unwritten branch paths of existing storylines and get some alternate endings done. I finished two of them: One for the Villainous Robot storyline and one for Sayori's Alter storyline, both involving choices that occur near the end.
