February review / March goals

WIP - 153 + slightly anxious rambling!

Happy March, gemlins! 💕

I finished my weekly redraw goal a day earlier than planned and for a moment I considered to keep going to get an even bigger head start into the next week but in the end I decided against that, and started sketching the NEW pages instead! I only managed 2.5 pages today before completely running out of steam and I will allow myself an early end to my work day for once (I say as it's already 10pm, lol) and go to bed to watch some Shadowhunters or something T _T...

As I mentioned a few times already, I'm currently redrawing the first 50+ pages of the comic for the print run of the first volume! I'll gradually post the new versions here for you to see :) But they won't be uploaded on tapas/webtoons for now.

Hey hey hey, gemlins 😙

I spent all day colouring pages and I'm happy to say I'm SO CLOSE to finishing, I have maybe half an hour of work left but I'm so tired and keep spacing out, so I'll leave the rest to finish in the morning and grab some sleep instead x)

I know I said I'd update on Monday, but I might just prepare everything tomorrow instead and post a little earlier, I'm quite eager to get these pages out to you :')))

Let the redraw marathon begin! 😩

As I mentioned before, in order to get #MUTED printed, I have to redraw the black/white pages, otherwise it'd be a hassle to set up the files and also I don't like the idea of having half of the pages be in colour and the other half b/w with screentones orz

Since I want to open preorder some time in April and have the books here by the time the Dokomi rolls around (preferably a month early, so at the beginning of May), my plan is to finish redrawing the first 57 pages until the end of M...

House of Greens

My first real illustration this year ; u;) Apparently there's an abandoned botanical garden in Berlin, I saw photos of it and loved all the greens and the turquoise glass and the old, dirty gold, and I could just imagine Jasper being in a place like that, surrounded by plants and soft light. I had something else planned for this month's couple artwork! But then Webtoons contacted me and asked for high-res art they could use for a banner to feature me on their front page at some point 😱 And since I didn't have any suitable artwork, I decided to draw one especially for this occasion! And also for me to use as a banner here and/or on Twitter in the future too, maybe.

The feature hasn't happened yet and I haven't talked about it anywhere, just in case they change their mind,...

Good morning, gemlins!!

Yesterday I binge-watched all of Tsurune in one go and I loved it so much that the urge to draw fanart for it was overwhelming! ;;;; This is more or less just me practising Masa-san and Minato, who I love very much T _T)) I wanna draw another fanart in the future if I can, but for now this must be enough as I have to get back to work.

But ahhh, Kyoani just keeps delivering such wonderful anime adaptions, I especially loved the colour schemes and atmosphere ...
