a few nights ago i was working on my muted storyboard but got heavily stuck and drew my boy misha instead. he goes so well with any and all soft colours T uT)

also notice the red around his eyes? "fun" fact: that's not make-up or just a casual feature, it's a sign for some health-related issues he has to suffer through. more on that - at some point :'D

having 4 different characters in a single scene is surprisingly difficult?? how do artists manage to draw stories with a whole bunch of characters, just the handful that's important for muted is already crazy to me. it takes so much longer just to sketch the pages so that everyone has their place in the panels. 

this scene was actually supposed to be done in 6-7 page...

lately i'm struggling to think of things to draw unless it's commissions or comic pages, since those are not as free-styled as my personal art. so until i've recharged my creativity, i might try to work on older sketches in order to not get too rusty. luckily (?), i have a lot of unfinished things from this and last year, so in case it takes a while for my brain to come up with id...

as much as i love the traditional screentone manga feel, i have difficulty getting the results i want sometimes, and i think colouring the pages instead would maybe help improve the story.........?
