Good evening my gemlins 💕

I've reached the colouring stage for the upcoming #muted update and I gotta say it's coming along nicely :3c But it also feels a little difficult, I've been playing around with colours so much lately that it's taking some time to get back into comic-page-colouring-flow LOL;; But I'm sure after the first page I'll have found my mojo again.

The episode will be 7 pages after all, and I hope to get it done until the end of next week!

Finished the sketch from yesterday!

This was very enjoyable to work on, I really want to draw more (quick-ish) illustrations again, it's something I want to improve at a lot, if I really want to feel confident enough in my skills to release an artbook one day! 💦

Whenever I spend some time reading manga I get this very strong urge to really ink something and use screentones again. So I drew this last night after I had finished my daily chunk of work :') 

Using regular hard pen brushes is such a struggle for me, I still suck at getting my vision down in /one/ line, I tend to overdraw a bit still, which is why I usually prefer pencil-like brushes, because it doesn't bother me as much then. But I would definitely like to challenge myself a bit...

#MUTED WIP

Aahhhh it feels so good to be back with my kids!

When I started sketching this morning I had a moment of "wtf how does this work again??", it was so strange. But luckily after almost 200 pages of very constant drawing in the last 2 years I got back into the flow very quickly, it only took a few strokes before I felt at home again :')

I finished sketches for 2 pages today, which doesn't sound like a lot but I also spent a good while in Sims, adjusting some things in my library mode...

Sky: Children of the Light

The studio that made "Journey" back in the day just released a new game called "Sky: Children of the Light" (only for iOS for now) and my friend told me about it and of course I downloaded it immediately.

I love Journey and this game is such a similar experience, yet totally different and I love it. The world is so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, the story that's being told is absolutely precious and the little sky kids are so cute T _T) You meet a lot of other players on...

Please enjoy 2 sample panels of what my storyboards ALWAYS look like. Even during the most serious scenes I cannot bring myself to not make my characters look like complete nerds XD (I hope you can even recognise anything in this mess LOL)

The last scene of the chapter is turning out to be much longer than I thought, so I'll be splitting it into multiple parts again! The storyboard is 12 pages so far but I'm expecting the whole scene to be around 30 pages in the end, gods help me @ _@)<...

A Doodle.

I'm still alive! I spent the entire Sunday still packing orders and I'm still not done. I'm in the very last stretches now, I could have probably done the rest today but to be frank after like 10 days of non-stop taking care of orders, I simply couldn't stand it anymore OTL So I'm doing the last bits tomorrow and then I'm free ! Hello gemlins!

My goal for this week is to finish packing and shipping preorders, I made very good progress today but there's still a lot to do 💦 And it's quite exhausting, physically. I don't think I've ever experienced wrist pains from drawing (thank the gods), but I do feel it from packing for some reason? xD It's putting quite the strain on my hands, wrists and arms in general. So I'm taking lots of breaks inbetween, which makes things a little bit slower than I'd like. But I'm o...

When the love is strong but summer is stronger

Due to insane temperatures I took yesterday and today (sort of) off 💦 My flat heats up to 33-37°C (up to 99°F) really quickly and I'm not always equipped to deal with that, lol.
