The project of infinite setbacks
Maybe it's not that bad, but I feel a lot of pressure for multiple reasons to go ahead and get this project done

Now for something a bit different. I get these poorly translated spammy emails all the time so I started taking advantage of them. This thing is a heck of a lot better than I expected it to be, so that's good. Now let's see what other surprisingly useful crap I can get from these emails. I already have another laser engraver coming. What's next?

I'm stopping on this go kart project for a bit to switch gears and work on something else. Turns out spit welding a high current battery pack together isn't quite as straightforward as I thought

This project took a bit longer than I expected, but I couldn't be happier with the results. Next step: Go Kart

The video should be coming in the next few days

You asked and I answered. This video had no cohesive goal or point. I just walked around my shop and talked about various tools. I could've talked way more about this stuff, but the video would be an hour long and significantly more boring. I hope you enjoy. If not, the next video will be back to normal. Whatever normal is.

I may have accidentally made an educational video. I learned a ton from this project and putting together this video. And I filmed it wildly out of order. I'd learn something new and have to go back and re-explain some older piece of information. There are several back to back clips in this video that were filmed a month apart. Hopefully this didn't turn out too talking-heavy. I normally try to condense explanations and the whole video as much as possible, but I went for thorough thi...

More of a casual video this time. I think I should make more videos like this. It was fun and relatively pressure free to make. It certainly won't be a viral hit or anything, but I think it was worth making.

Isn't this wonderful?! As far as I know, this is the only one of its kind in the states, and the owner invited me down for a look at it!

Now I just need to make a trip to the landfill and scrapyard.

After a few weeks of work, it's finally done! This took me a fair bit longer than I expected, but it also works a lot better than expected

My Coda needed work done (surprising, I know), so I did that work. Now it should be good to go for at least another mile.

Here's a short little video about my third (and final, hopefully) Coda. I also add some missing details about the whole EDI story
By the way, I'm finally working on the bus again. It'll be a while until this work results in a video, but progress is happening!

This was a big project. I thought I could have this done in a couple days, but it took far longer than that. It's a little rough around the edges, but as I said in the video, this is a learning experience. I haven't filled up the drawers yet, but I think I made them too shallow. Oh well!

Steffen at My Wood Cutters sent me this cutter head nearly three months ago and I just now found time to make the videos with it. Time flies when you're having fun! You can expect an Under Dunn project next week and then it's back to Aging Wheels for a lit...

Here's everything I had to do to get my Coda back to being roadworthy. A whole host of issues (including the wheel bearings, again) popped up after I made this video, so it looks like I have more work to do!
