Outlander 1X9: The Reckoning

This was a hell of an episode for poor Claire and Jamie. It felt like everything that could have gone wrong did. And it hurt to have to watch both of them endure.

But, by the end of it, they seemed to have a net positive. It's always better when they are on the same side.

Dude. Kim looked stunned at Jimmy at the end of this episode. She had no idea that wasn't sincere. Even after they did all the other stuff 'pro Chuck' stuff together.

Poor Head German Guy. I don't really think he meant any harm, but he had to know that escaping wasn't going to go over well.

Friday Night Lights 1X20: Mud Bowl

I loved this episode. It's definitely one of my favorites so far.

If I were a different person, this would totally put me off roller coasters, but I love them too much. But, holy shit, that was intense.

I feel terribly for Buck. And all these characters, actually. I have no idea how you can have a job where you get into it to help people, but sometimes they just die on you.

Our entire Ark storyline was in flashbacks, so I have no idea what's going on with Abby, Raven and that tiny ass pod. And I really want to see if it's moving along. They are so out of time! But the Ark story we did get was awesome.

I feel kind of stupid for not figuring out what Oliver's plan was earlier. Which is generally why I hate mysteries. If I don't figure it out, I feel stupid. If I do figure it out, I feel ripped off. Lol. But it was a really good plan.

Pretty sure this one is the half-season finale (or whatever you call it). And it was perfect for that.

Claire was so close to getting away! I really thought she was pulling it off. Until she didn't. Sigh. But Jamie to the rescue!

Are we setting this up for Frank to 'give up' on Claire so we can be free to enjoy her being with Jamie? Or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

OMG. The ground is such a hot mess right now. I have zero faith that these kids are gonna make it out alive. Again I say, they cannot play the 'There are no rules game- and then try to make them follow rules!' It doesn't work that way! Bellamy is such a scumbag.

I screamed quite a few times. Sorry about that. I'm bad with the jump scares. I startle easily. Oops.

Big fan of the fire department and the 9-1-1 operator. I'm not loving the LAPD woman who they claim is like 50 (she can't be more than in her late 30s). But she grew on me more as the episode went on. Hopefully that continues in the next episode as well.

Wow. A ton of stuff happened in this episode.

I'm most intrigued with what's going on with Moira right now. How much does she know? Why is she keeping it a secret? Who is the guy she's meeting with in the car?

Everything was going so well for Oliver. They exonerated Declan, got Brodeur arrested, Diggle decided to work with him, and then they had to go and arrest him. Sigh.

Why is that guy on the island trying to Mr. Miyagi him? Just tell him in English what needs to be done!...

Outlander 1X7: The Wedding

I'm just going to apologize. This was just a lot of swoony nonsense from me. But this episode was exactly what I wanted.

Jamie was incredible in this episode. (Not that Claire wasn't, but Jamie just stood out in particular). I love that he doesn't care if Claire is sort of in charge. He doesn't really see a woman has having a particular lot.

Can all the episodes be this swoony with the two of them, please?

One Tree Hill 3X18: When It Isn't Like It Should Be

I'm conflicted about this episode. I really wanted something light and fluffy, which they gave me, but I also sort of felt guilty that I got this. How much time is supposed to have passed since the last episode?

Fuck Randall. Am I right? I knew he wasn't to be trusted. I mean, I did read the book, so that's not saying much, but still. Lol. That said, though, the actor playing him does a good job of playing two distinctly different characters.

Also, it was so not enjoyable to watch him literally torture poor Jamie. But I think we get a wedding next episode so at least we've got that to look forward to. I need to watch Jamie do something positive after this episode.

One Tree Hill 3X17: Who Will Survive, and What Will Be Left of Them
