This month, we work on our upcoming game Markl and start some of the bigger boat projects; such as replacing the windows and the rigging. Our to-do list to sail over to Japan is a long one!

We have been working very hard on Markl these past few days.
Rekka has finished all of the concept art for the 5 main levels, and is currently cleaning up all of the tiles and decorative assets. The level pictured above is the 'wooden' level, others include: the garden, the dojo, the dungeon and the rooftop.
More levels will be added later, but these are the 5 that will be included in the release.
Devine has been working on the sound engine, the game logo, projectiles and...
My animation style is by no means complicated, and it provides good results. This tutorial will be about animating simple idles in photoshop. There is no re-drawing involved, all you'll be doing is warping individual body parts. I used this animation style for Oquonie, although I did have to re-draw some of the legs to make proper walk cycles. Our latest video is out, and features our 9-day 1,200NM passage to New Zealand, from Vava'u Tonga!
We had a very salty sail, lots of waves and wind. Pino made great speed, it's one of the fastest passages we've made. Fast often means less comfortable, most of the time we were heeled over and being below wasn't much fun. Going to the bathroom, a normally simple affair on land, becomes a chore at sea. We did it!
Pino and its crew arrived safely in New Zealand on October 31st! The trip took us about 10 days, averaging a speed of 6-9kts (our boat typically runs at 5-6kts). We arrived here crazy fast, which is just as well, the winds were getting stronger by the day. It was a very salty passage, we got waves coming into the cockpit often. We are about to leave Tonga, the tropics, and the land of bountiful breadfruit. This versatile fruit, can be cooked into fries, eaten with coconut milk, made into chips, or like this recipe suggests, it can be made into gnocchi.

Hey all!
We just released our video for october, our last one in Tonga. We will be leaving for New Zealand waters at the end of the month, while working on projects, such as Markl and Rotonde, we've been carefully inspecting the boat for wear to ensure our safe passage.

Good day rabbits!
We've been experimenting a lot in the galley as of late, being in a stable anchorage gives us time to be creative. We appreciate this change of pace. Here is our latest recipe.
While Devine & I were still in British Columbia, I remember one morning waking up to the sound of someone knocking at our boat: it was our neighbours, coming to offer some homemade pan-fried corn pone....
We spent 5 days in Niue, in this short capsule we explore the Limu pool, the Avaiki Caves, the Togo Chasm, the Hio beach, the Talava arches and more.
