Hello, happy valentines to those who observe it, if not then this is just a post featuring to silly orca boys. I wanted to make some cards for the occasion because years ago I used to make DBZ ones with funny innuendos each year. This is all I can offer for the day but I hope they make you laugh!

Comic - Diana meets Vio

A quick comic for a friend! We've been talking about ff7 Rebirth as they've been playing through it for the first time, and sharing stuff about our OCs. This idea was jumbling around in my head after learning about their character, Vio haha :D

a short and messy bit of story I wanted to get on paper about Sardon. When he was born he wasn't in the best condition. When it comes to real orcas, especially the Southern Resident orcas, it's a heart breaking fact to know that most babies don't make it within the first weeks of their life because the moms have a hard time eating enough to produce milk.

Comic - Zorca Ceremonies & First Meetings

FF16's Leviathan DLC was the inspiration when it came to the Zorca's ceremony to introduce new babies to their pod. Their version of a baptism basically haha! I'm still refining the idea around the gift giving aspect, but the brain zoomies demanded I draw something out!

The Wind Fish Trio

Posting the last pieces I did for January, starting with these three! I think Im satisfied with Maestro's final design, and Im super glad with Fermata's! I want to do more with Skanna but Im not sure how to approach it yet. I didn't want to go with a typical in-game zora design, and I want to show features of some kind so when you see her you can tell she's connected to the Zorca

Comic - Songs of the Windfish

I want to start a small project where I draw comics or scenes based on songs I picked out for Cironus. One of the first songs I put on his playlist was Master Exploder by Tenacious D. I tried to make the scenes go with the song, see if you can follow along! :D

Rito OC - Nerisa

This lady was bouncing around in my head for a while and I slowly started coming up with a few solid ideas to put on paper. Im really proud of this ❤️

The Coastal Rito Lifeguard group, along with Arena and Keiger belong to werewolfsister. As for things Nerisa can do, I'll just have to work on ideas in the future!

Sketches - Yona and some zorca!

I love Yona so much, a lot of my recent sketchbook is filled with pages like this. The Yona/Sidon child appeared in a previous post, still not sure of a name and gender! I tweaked the design a bit which is heavily inspired by proxycrit/Critbit's rendition of Yona from their Legend of Zelda AU called Familiar Familiar!

Agra expressions

I did these on new year's eve, trying to fill up a page as quick as I could for a little challenge. One of my personal goals for this year is to do more marker pieces, especially since I saved up and bought myself a large marker set back in august!

Grandmother Whale Shark

This character was inspired by werewolfsister who shared their experience of swimming with whale sharks! I started looking into information about them, and learned how people can take photos and upload them to a website to help identify them! I also found out their significance in various cultures. In Indonesia there are several stories about them and how they're seen.

Secret Santa gift

A while ago I signed up for a secret santa project set up by werewolfsister, and today was the day to turn in our gifts. This is for Vanali-of-winterfell on tumblr who gifted me with an awesome fic about Cironus 😍✨

I used to go through a process when I finish a sketchbook because I get so attached to it in the months or years I work in it, that it's bittersweet when I move to the next one! After each book is done, I leave a message to my self on the last pages that reflect on the artistic journey and goals that were set. The bittersweet feeling has been replaced with one of excitement. Sketchbook send off

This was the last page in my "zora" sketchbook and felt like a fitting end. I am grateful that werewolfsister included me in their comic project! Hand holding leads to...children!?

When I feel like there's nothing to draw, I start to practice anatomy. The hand practices eventually turned into Cironus, Yona and Sidon hand studies and they make me smile. Gerudo Fashion

Despite drawing a lot of zora related things, it's Gerudo, Goron and Rito that are my favorites! I spent a few pages in my sketchbook playing with a human au for my zorca, and Yona and Sidon for fun! Werewolfsister came up with Sardon's human design and its 👌👀 and some fluffy images of Sardon/Sona and Yona/Cironus because you have to treat yourself to a little self indulgence :3
