Mark's Banishment

Before I finish the first page of Mark the Bully, I wanted to put a small cap on Mark the Barbarian by finishing this comic I've had half-done forever. Not sure how I feel about the final result. Maybe switching things up will be good for me.

Working on two comic pages right now, and I just got super burnt out on them both, so I'm doing characters for a little bit. I enjoy doing characters a lot. I'll probably get back to the comics tomorrow. 

Yet another update

I intend to finish Rastaba tomorrow, and hopefully the whole comic. Since I drew them each indibidually, I don't think I've ever put this much work into a single comic before. I hope it shows in the quality, but I could fuck it up.

Should have had this done yesterday. I am happy with the way it came out. There is something I really, really, really enjoy about satys. Maybe it's something about any classical mythological creature, because I feel the same way about centaurs and faeries and stuff.

Computer Trouble

So I've already gotten some good feeback, but since I don't undestand much computer language, I'm always left feeling like "It MAY be this, or it MAY be that." I don't know what specs I need to know. I guess I can install more RAM but I don't want to do that if it doesn't help. Photoshop is the only program I have trouble with. I understand 2GBs is actually pretty large, and I can make it smaller by compressing layers, but that is SUPER inconvenient for me if I want to edit something. 

Comic and Rant

Holy shit, have I been having a frustrating time. I'm really nervous about doing comic pages, because unlike regular pictures, these tend to get really, really, really big in terms of file size, especially when I add the text, and I can't seem to control it anymore. In the ase of this picture, there are things I'd like to edit and change about it, but the file size is so unwieldy that it would take a minute to open, a minute to save, and a too long to actually edit. Oh man, I'm really excited with the way the first Mark the Bully comic is coming along. Since this first comic will be a quick intro to all the characters, I'm taking me time and drawing them each seperately. Up next are Rastaba, Briar, Tamora, and Key. I maaaaay cut Key for space, which'll be too bad, since I was going to draw him as basically a trap.

I actually started this one last month and didn't get around to finishing it till right now-ish. I added the pumpkin and the line about Halloween to put it in season. I regret making Serafall so big. In previous drawings she is much more petite, like halfling status. (Serafall is a catgirl who lives in a fantasy wilderness. Tauriel is a futa hunter who likes to repeatedly catched Serfall, fuck her silly, and then set her free to catch again).

Aeron, Selfish Succubus

Aeron is an accompanying character to King Rusty (I did a picture of him maybe 3 months back). Rusty seems to be the cool laid-back king of a liberal country, and he's also a total alpha-stud to boot. His wife is a succubus, Delilah, and I think Aeron here is a sort of reoccurring member of his harem. I guess he has a thing for demon-girls.

I'm not done with this one, but it's been so long without posting something that I just had to put something up. I've got like four different things half-finished, which kind of makes this the most tedious part of my work cycle. I've got two comic pages half finished and two other things sketched out with some line-art. Just picking which gets done first slows me down.

Rastaba and Aliisza, Part2

A follow up to an earlier pic I did of Rastaba summoning the friendly succubus Aliisza for some hanging out. Things are going great between them, but Rastaba's roommate Nel the Eskimo isn't having it. I'm glad I didn't over invest in the scenery like I did with the last pic, but I'm glad I put something in. I think the saber-tooth skull is enough to give a good idea of Nel's aesthetic.
