The newer-style KDA Evelynn wig I wanted came back in stock from my favorite wig company! I placed my order yesterday. I'm STOKED. Expect more hot demon lady shit 😈

Its funny... I got the set up to shoot "real" photos and the ones that I like best are always the selfies. These might be the shots that hit twitter in the next few days?

I'm starting to get REALLY antsy now that the sun's out and the weather's warming up by my neck of the woods.

I found some more pictures of my FFTA Red Mage - we took these at the local renaissance faire, which is why I'm wearing these black shorts and boots instead of those gold heels. Here's a doofy jumping picture because my photographer friend, Nude Carbon, LOVES to try to make me take dramatic jumping pictures but I make the derpiest faces whenever I try.

Here's the promised play-by-play for the Ral look. As a note, I do the make up a LITTLE different every time... What can I say? I'm (mostly) human. Over the effect is similar, but I've definitely varied the degree that I shade or how I do the effect for facial hair.

Since I was talking about it anyway, here's a little mini tutorial on how I clean my brushes (when I remember to do it - which I'm not as good at).
Pic 1: Non-porous chunk of plastic that I put random squiggly lines on with hot glue, this makes the surface textured so the bristles of the brush move around when you pass it gently across. Way better than having to push down harder on the brush and damage it. There's also a little bowl of warm water + a little foaming make up remover...

So it turns out all my make up brushes are dirty 🤣 I spent quite a bit of Sunday cleaning those (it's a good habit to get into and I've been slacking). No make up, but this cosplay is WILD. Those thrasher things are 4-5ft and completely wired. They're unruly to walk around with but I'm impressed how well they secure to the other parts.
I'll do some proper photos once my make up piles are organized again.

So I actually bought one of the Evelyn outfits - it's the first KDA outfit, not the new one I really want, since the new one isn't yet available with immediate shipping. If nothing else it'll be fun to try on and it'll give me a better idea of what the materials of these look/feel like and the sizing.
Exciting to have something new en route regardless!

I wasn't nearly as happy with the set of pics I did with my remote camera as the selfies I took - but Patreon gets to see some of the flubs as well. It was a learning experience! Take it from me, you get those three good shots when you try 50 different poses in 10 different lightings and end up with 75+ pictures that are only okay XD
Plus what else am I doing in without events to go to?
I've got a few more selfies I'll post here and then I'll pick some to post to twitter and IG at some point. We don't need to tell anyone that this was an Evelyn test - that can be our little secret until I find the proper cosplay to put together.

I had a lot of fun taking these photos but of course the best ones I got are just selfies in front of a mirror - not any of the shots with my nicer equipment.
Anyway, I'm just waiting on recommendations/reviews to come in on the pre-made cosplays online and then I'll save up some dollars and grab one. I'm convinced.
Emphasis on test - this is was a make-up/general vibe test for a potential new cosplay. Friends and I have been playing a bunch of League of Legends this year and I kinnnnnnnda wanna cosplay every KDA outfit that Evelyn has 🤣
So I found some stuff that was close-ish to her aesthetic and dressed up on Sunday. It's like the Kroger version of character, but I'm very pleased with the vibe.
