Originally serialized in Cyber Comix No.017 (Published March 1990), this is technically a "sequel" to Double Fake (as evidenced by the main character sharing the same last name as Darry), but it can be taken as a stand-alone entry in its wackiness. Although the chapter included in Double Fake indicates no date, the original serialization says that it takes place in U.C.0179. Whether we accept that as the date in the updated version or not is up to the viewer, I guess.

So, there was a comment brought to my attention when someone unsubscribed in frustration because of this manga entry. There are no missing pages in the releases. Part.03 of the G Gundam sidestory kicks off with the "Legend of the New Heroes" banner. The story is officially subtitled "Jewel of the East." Seeing that someone wanted this as their commission, I had to pause the manga chapters. I do have the other 10 chapters finished, but as you can see, that's almost 500 pages to format (and I'll admit it's a pain half the time, even using macros in Word). So, I did make a minor tweak back to an old spelling I went with, and that's for Quatre's sister. I was paging through the old Viz translation of Episode Zero and elected to go with "Quaterine" for her name (which I did back when I was translating this over a decade ago). While her name is technically "Catherine," it was honestly getting far too annoying to give subtle tweaks in spelling and not make people go mad in reading it or get people confused. And so we begin our dive into the final volume with the first third of the novel. I'm working on getting the Newtype scans handled (taking a trip to Fedex/OfficeMax to try out their larger scanners), so I can focus on brining you those, too.
