Last week's winner for the Will Smith/Tommy Lee Jones poll was The Fugitive. We both love Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones, so we're very excited to see this one!
This week we thought it would be fun to make another actor focused poll, so we picked Patrick Swayze! We watched Point Break a while back and thought it was fantastic... so much so that we can't believe it took us this long to revisit his work!

Time for a scaaaaary movie!
We both loved this movie so so so much! Yes, it's terrifying and has some very gruesome stuff haha, but there's also a wonderful story and such well written characters. Jordan mentions he recently finished reading the book, so I think it was extra fun for him getting to compare the two!

One of my favorite Marvel movies yet! Hela was so damn cool... and Fenris... and there was an actual Valkyrie?! OMG are you kidding me 🤩 Oh yeah, and no big deal, but the magical and utterly fantastic music of Led Zeppelin is also going to be featured... so you fricken BET I LOVED THIS MOVIE!

You all know how much we love sci-fi movies, so yeah... we fricken loved this one too!! The aliens were sooooo funny. And they looked so real - I'm thinking most of them were costumes or puppets right? And then a few had to be CG. Plus you've got the hilarious dynamic of K and J. They were perfect together 🤣

Omg, yes! I love Spider-Man sooooo much. He's my absolutely favorite... I know I say that about lots of characters, but he's ACTUALLY my favorite hahaha. So naturally I loved this movie.
I mention in the intro that I have seen the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies and that I'll be releasing them after this eventually... probably after phase 3 of the Marvel movies I'm thinking. So it was super interesting getting to see another perspect...

Alrighty first off, last week's winner for the TV poll was Stranger Things: Season 1. The votes were so close though, so here's what we're going to do... We're going to continue with The Mandalorian for right now, and we're going to start Stranger Things for October!

It's SPEED TIME! Woo!
This movie had me at the edge of my seat the ENTIRE TIME. There's never a dull moment. And Keanu is the absolute best, especially with Sandra Bullock! Their chemistry is like nothing I've seen before on screen. They seem like they're actually in love. I would looooove to see more movies with them.

I am soooo ready for this. Love me some Guardians of the Galaxy. I think I'm most excited for more Groot, and the new soundtrack... the music in the first one was so perfectly curated, so I'm thinking this one is going to have some real bangers too, right!? I'm also very tempted to try find the vinyl for these soundtracks. That would be such a fun addition to our small collection!!

Today we've got a movie that's all about character it would seem. We both thought this movie was super interesting in the way it was shot, and how the story was told - very different from anything else we've seen. Plus the soundtrack was a masterpiece.

Okay, we're back on track now... going to keep watching the Marvel movies, because I'm madly in love with this universe and I don't want to detour anymore haha. I knew nothing about Doctor Strange before this, and now I love everything about his story and world. The magic in this is so unreal. And you all KNOW how much I love magic hahaha... so yeah, instantly love this movie!

Yaaaay! So many of you have recommended this movie, and now we all get to watch it together ❤️ This was so adorable and fun - one of the best family friendly movies I have ever seen. And those puppets!? OMG... I know they were only in the movie for a little bit, but they stole the show. I think I've got to start collecting weird little puppet guys for our background now haha

Thank you everyone for being so patient for this movie ❤️ I totally get the hype now, OMG this movie was amazing. I know I keep saying it, but I can't believe these Marvel movies are getting better and better... like just when I think I've seen the best one - for sure this time, the next one has even more explosions, more of the characters I've grown to love, and definitely more of a budget haha.
