Final Eat the Dungeon Battle UI Mockup

Here is the final mockup! The only thing that has changed is the appearance of running enemies. I have begun implementing the new UI and I anticipate being done with it next week!

Battle UI Overhaul Mockup 3

In addition to using feedback, what I really wanted to do here was provide more information about AOEs/ranges. We can use the orange burst to indicate who will be hit by an attack, and we can gray out targets that are outside the currently selected adventurer's range. All in all, I feel like this is a good level of informational density. Unless feedback convinces me otherwise, I think this will be the final mockup

Battle UI Overhaul Mockup 2

I incorporated a lot of feedback into this one, but the main things I wanted were: making the ability icons more clear and adding some more visual information. Mockup 1 was about stripping out as much information as I could and with Mockup 2, I want to swing the pendulum back to more information. In subsequent mockups we will home in on exactly how much we want.

Battle UI Overhaul Mockup 1

I want to start replacing the placeholder UI assets in the battle mode with something more final. My plan is to produce mockups, take feedback, and refine those mockups. This update includes the new levels, new enemy types, as well as continued tweaks to the attack speed formula! These tweaks are aimed at making sure the attack timer never reaches 0, no matter how high the Speed Stat is

Updated Legendary Tier Character Designs Post
