Trying out something new for August. The request streams will now be a weekly thing, every Sunday. Instead of taking on the sometimes straining task of 4 images each stream, I'm shooting for the goal of a minimum of 2 per stream.
What this means is still 8 images/month of requests, at a minimum, but a better chance at even more. Some days I'm sure I'll do 3, maybe even 4, but this way there's more streams, just perhaps of a shorter duration. But if I did 2 drawings one week, then 3 the n...

I like Zeta, but despite the numerous already completed sketches and other art of her existing design, I have for a while been less than 100% satisfied with her look. Maybe 80%. So I took the chance to fiddle with some things. Largely she's still the same, but I've made note of the changes on the image here, as well as her outfit to a slight degree: making it look more like ARA and Warning's to give some semblance of a uniform between them.

Patreon for some reason has run into some processing fraud-false-flags, so a massive amount of pledges have been declined, or rather, supporters' banks have marked Patreon as 'fraud' . If you can take a minute to update with your bank that the Patreon transactions are not fraud, it'd make me and any other creators you support happy!

I did this doodle back in April... doodle of Tangle, new lemur character from new Sonic comics. I want to do more mid-level HD content and practice my speed at a few things like inking and colouring. So I took this and ran it through a quick ink work to test out how well I can do and how long it takes... result is about an hour to ink, which I suppose isn't bad. I don't want to lose quality on it, so, I think that's an alright time marker.

Here's the finished pinup for ARA! I kind of stuck with the beach/swimsuit idea all the way through for this one, I'm pretty happy with the result. Inspired by a lot of anime-style girl beach pinups I used for inspiration, I wanted to set this in my own universe with a slightly scifi setting, jelly-like creatures, and swimsuit.

She was an older, rather obscure character from "Around the World with Willy Fog" I think.. she got removed from the pinup roster with very few votes, so not a lot of time into this, but at least wanted to get it done. I know I still have to do such a picture for some others as well. I think she's a panther..? I'm not sure. Heavily stylized her for my work though, but I did enjoy the result.

In-tune with cutesy, silly summer beach pictures, I think. The general theme will be something bright, warm, swimsuit-y. Her past pinups had been pretty serious-like, or frontal shots, so changing it up a bit with this. I don't expect too many alternate versions but should make for some good midsummer wallpapers.

Sorry for the slow few days; after coming back from Anthrocon, I have a few small doodles I did that I liked and wanted to refine; Rehzi was actually the first print to sell out. A lot of people came up and complimented him, loved him. It was humbling and motivating to do a little diddle in my spare time!

ARA wins! ...not that it's too surprising. I have some ideas in mind for when I re-work this pinup vote thing to make them a little less predictable/reaching huge, high numbers. More on that when I get to it later in the year! Flags for Sally, Jenna, Mrrshan.. there were only a few folks casting for them, but even if removed, Jenna and Sally at least would earn a well-done piece.

Last time on Ask ARA! I don’t think anyone really knew how it’d go from there, but introducing Radoslav into an in-character setting was pretty fun and important to me.
Ask ARA has never been canon, per se, but the character interactions and world building have always been accurate, both to give folks better introductions to them and the world. Here's a quick update for y'all; I wasn't 100% behind some parts of Massak's original design, mostly his outfit. A few minor changes to his face, like brow shape, an actual mane like a sheep SHOULD have, and more defined, shapely markings and ears, as well as not going totally nuts with the fluff, and keeping him a bit more tidy and handsome yet keeping the fluffy important parts like heels, shoulders, mane, etc.
