Sneak Peek #7

In a flashback scene, pregnant Anna makes a return!  We meet this new character in the next update as well.

As for timing of release... The artist just got through a couple difficult scenes with new settings that took a lot of time, but the rest of the rendering should go smooth from here on out for this update.  I'm still working on the writing and programming.  A reasonable goal for me is end of this month.

Quick update

Hello Patrons,

I've made a lot of progress this week.  The artist now has all the story material needed to complete Part 2.  He's currently working on three scenes in Saturday.  I have no regrets not releasing Friday on it's own... I wouldn't have been able to get him everything for Saturday to work on by now.

I still have a lot to do for programming/writing/editing, but I'm moving along.  One of the scenes in Friday was the largest script for a scene so far in...

Hello Patrons,

I'm back from vacation now, so I've resumed work on APM.

Last night I did some thinking, and I've reached the decision that I'm going to wait to release Friday until I can include it with the half-day of Saturday.  I feel pressure to release Friday on its own because I know everyone wants content, but that's only going to cost me more time having to package and release.  For example, today I want to focus on getting script to the artist for Saturday, so he...

Vacation musing

I may be away from my computer, but that’s not stopping my brain from working on the project. Being away has given me some time to think through scenarios and ideas. I can’t wait to get back and resume work!

Status update

I'm going to be on summer vacation this coming week, so unfortunately I won't be able to make progress on the project while I'm gone.  There's still work to do before the next version is out.  I'm now considering releasing Anna's Friday only, without Saturday, since there's a lot of work to do for Saturday.

Status Update

Hello patrons,

Life has been busy lately, so I don't have much to report.  I hope to have the last update of Part 2 by sometime in July.  It will take a bit longer because I hope to include both Friday and Saturday.

I went back and played it from the start recently, and I made some edits to cut down on the script.  I found that it dragged on in certain places.  Maybe one day I'll have an extra release with content I cut out.

APM v0.6.4 status update

Hello everyone,

Unfortunately I'm not in a position to release the update today, as I still need to proof everything.  The good news is I finally finished the last scene today, so now I can focus on reviewing and packaging everything, but I have a busy weekend so it may not happen until Monday.  I'm disappointed too, but I'm not going to push this out unfinished.

Status of v0.6.4

Hello everyone,

Just an update on the status of the next release...

I now have all the renders (and one animation), so I'll be finishing up programing and editing this week and hope to have everything ready sometime next week.  As you know, I tend to be meticulous about details, so I'll run through the update a number of times before I'm happy with it.

I plan to release the next update in April.  I don't anticipate it being a "big" update because there's still a lot of build-up to do on Thursday to add context to the bigger picture.  The update will mainly include scenes from Anna's day at work.  I'll keep you posted on the progress!
