New Race Text Tutorial Available!

Refer to the following on how to make a new race (solely enabling you to customize their appearance as more than that makes things quite a bit more complicated). I could not figure out how to prevent tails and horns from being added to your character when clicking the randomize appearance button, so that is one caveat.

Polymath 2.5 Ready

That was easier to code than anticipated. Behold, Polymath now comes with an option to write out the information for existing spells, so you can edit them. I'll tentatively upload the update to Nexus tomorrow and will start the short to show how to double spell damage.

Hey all! The baby came out healthy. Like most first-time dads, I completely underestimated how much time and energy a newborn can take (even with parental leave). Sleep deprivation (mostly interrupted sleep) and adjusting are pretty hard on me. Have not had the chance to touch my PC and think about gaming or videos.

And Polymath now places your custom items into the tutorial chest! I'll consider edits to enable placing it in other containers (like the Camp Chest), then will start up the video script! Once I am happy with the code, I'll post the beta version here!

Polymath 2.4 Update

Placing custom gear in the game it is (considering Patreon requests as well!)! Given that it is a heck of a lot easier to start with something premade just for you (versus me providing some template), I have already edited Polymath to add an option to place your custom weapon/armor in the tutorial chest. All that is left is to ensure the code runs without issues, test it, then get the video moving (providing additional guidance, such as if you want to give the gear to a merchant).

We are also in the unique position where official modding tools should be released in the next month for both Starfield and BG3 (so any tutorials I make for those games may become redundant and lower yield after a month). Polymath 2.3 is live, with the SD version of the video being done uploading in around 15 minutes!

I am going to take a few days to see about making a mod that I thought could be interesting to put together last week (unlimited fireballs with a sound effect of Fallout's "War Never Changes" quote). Personal Musing: Castlevania: Nocturne

I just finished Castlevania: Nocturne on Netflix. I highly recommend it if you like Baldur's Gate 3, as the character backgrounds (ultra-traumatized) are similar to an extent, and there is pretty remarkable character development in fairly complex characters. Polymath 2.3 Just About Ready

It is so much nicer having code actually work more like it is supposed to. The custom passives widget and integration of custom passives you make into a class mod are just about ready and functional! As you can see in the screenshot, I gave myself a custom passive that gave Flurry of Blows. The only thing left is to figure out why the custom passive does not have the custom name and description that I gave it. This will likely not take much longer (I have already ruled out more likely causes)...

The framework for the Passives widget is roughly done. Next, I need to add additional functionality to the widget and decide if some of these fields are better not included for the moment (StatsFunctorContext and StatsFunctor appear to do roughly the same thing, even if separately defined in-game).
