This drawing of Guts was featured in Animal House #7 of 1991. It was advertising the beginning of the Golden Age, which would start in the next issue of the magazine. What's notable about it is the fact it didn't make it into the manga itself. From the looks of it, it seems to have been intended for Golden Age (3), before the fight against Bazûso.

Kentarou Miura was awarded the Prize for Excellence at the 6th edition of the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize, which took place on May 28, 2002. Someone asked for a comparison between the Japanese edition of Dur-An-Ki (from Hakusensha) and the French edition (by Glénat). Here are a few shots of the two side by side, taken by a smartphone camera.

As a mangaka, as a fan, I am a fundamentalist and a worshipper of Miura.

Here is a statue of the little embodiment of Casca's ego that survived in her nightmare while her mind was fractured. It isn't officially licenced, I bought it off an Italian sculptor on Etsy. I don't usually buy unofficial merchandise, but this one was too cute to pass on. It's pretty big too, standing at about 22 cm tall.
