Hello everyone,


The October build is almost ready!

Our level team has been making some great progress around the Alpha Camp and on many areas of the landscape. We also started to implement story-mode functionality around gear enhancement and crafting. These features are still early in development, but once they are more fleshed out they will hopefully enrich the experience of exploration in the world of Kerpal.

We are iterating the Alpha Camp implementation, going over object collision models and addressing feedback for all sorts of objects that are placed around in the camp. At the same time we are also continuing with some color concepts as paintover on the Alpha Camp blockout views.

We are working on the completion of the outdoor area of Alpha Camp Blockout A and should be able to finish it today. We also started developing a Color Blockout for the Alpha Camp to get a rough idea how everything will look once textured. Next we will put together the materials and textures for the Alpha Camp so we can start finalizing it.

One of our next goals in the level department is to get the Alpha Camp A-blockout finished. So we started importing the next iteration of the Alpha Camp buildings with increased details and some prop placement. 

On the landscape side, we are removing awkward angles and bumps to improve navigation for the player and NPCs.

Mini Locations: Our work on the cave mini locations is almost complete and should be finished in the coming week, leaving only camps and miscellaneous smaller locations.

Progress in all departments is being made, the sandbox has an awesome new tool - the bone controller which allows you to manipulate every bone in a character in any state (sex scene, pose, NPC).
