Hidden Details: A Piercing Speech

Phew, a regular ol' one-page comic! I gotta say, it's nice to make one of these again after the pure chaos that was the Everyone is Celebrating panel. There aren't that many hidden details in this one, but enough to write a happy little blog about. First off: the title is very very clever, if I may say so myself. It's a play on the title of Ridley's reveal trailer, "A Piercing Screech".

Super Smash Bias Progress Pictures

I hope it's not noticeable, but I drew the flipover drawings in a seperate file, but WAY too small, so the stuff on the flipovers is a bit blurry. And once again, I forgot the details on Sakurai's shirt. I changed it last-minute so you'll notice his shirt has the details in the comic, but this GIF is a testament of my forgetfulness. Hope you feel honored to have witnessed this!

I experienced multiple "CRAP I FORGOT x" moments with this one. First, I forgot the details of Sakurai's shirt and then I forgot to include Ken in the background. Also, the first Incineroar sketch (without any reference) looked super weird.

I actually REALLY disliked Incineroar. To me he's just as forgettable as Emboar: angry bipedal fire animal. But, since he's in Smash, I'm going to try to stop worrying and learn to love the heel wrestler cat. I'll start playing Ultra Moon soon and I'll pick him as my starter.
