It's time for the AMA!

For those who are new and/or might now know, AMA stands for "Ask Me Anything", and essentially this is how it works:  Down below in the comments, you can ask me a question (or a few), and at the end of the month, I will record myself answering them, and release an audio for you all to be able to enjoy!

Hey everyone, it's time to pick the monthly theme! I've got some themes for you, and the voting will end Saturday, November 4th!

Peony: Commonly, Peonies symbolize romance, prosperity, happy marriage, riches, honor and compassion, but they can also mean bashfulness. There are two common myths about the Peony. In one, the name of Peony is tied to a nymph named Paeonia. A beautiful nymph attracts the attention of Apollo, who begins to flirt with her. When Paeonia realizes that Aphrodite is watching them, she becomes bashful and turns bright red. In retribution, Aphrodite in anger turns her into a red Peony. This is one believed to be one of the sources of the bashfulness symbolism! It was also a common fate of lovers/love interests of Apollo. Some of the best times to give someone a Peony, is when you want to congratulate someone who's been successful in some aspect of their lives.

Carrots: This one might be wild sounding, but the spiritual meaning of carrots transcends cultures and belief systems, often representing themes of fertility, growth, and transformation. The ancient Greeks and Romans believed that the carrot's vibrant color and phallic shape signified virility and procreation. In fact, some cultures even used carrots as an ingredient in aphrodisiac concoctions! As symbols of personal growth, the carrot grows beneath the surface of the earth, out of view. This subterranean growth process can be seen as a metaphor for the unseen emotional and spiritual development that takes place within individuals.

Deer: These animals are known all over the world, for they live on every continent except Antarctica. They are subjects of many myths, folklore, and symbolism. Many cultures view the Deer as a spiritual guide, along with representing intuition and instincts, along with gentleness and devotion. The deer was also sacred to the goddess Artemis in Greek mythology, and they symbolize that the powers in nature are not easily subdued.

Sorry I forgot to post this until now, but the winning theme of this month is the Moon!

Waxing and waning, the moon is a sign of constant cyclical change. The tides rise and fall with these phases of the moon, and so some interpret this as a symbol of the ebb and flow of life. Each phase of the moon is believed to correspond to a different aspect of a person's phases of learning, letting go and growth. From accepting loss and the inevitable, to new beginnings and rebirth, to Growth, manifestation, and fullfillment. The moon is the brightest thing in the night sky, and it makes sense humans have put so much symbolism into it.
