In the next update, presets will be added for Custom Resolution to make resolution adjustment easier.
You can select a target width or height, and waifu2x will keep the media's aspect ratio unchanged.
The "Minimum" presets works by upscaling the "shorter side" of the media to the designated resolution, which is more suitable when dealing with a large number of files with different aspect ratios.

1. Quality:

Further updates for the newly added GIF Frame Interpolation feature will be available in the next update:

In the NEXT update, GIF will also support the "Frame Interpolation Only" mode, just like video. Additionally, there will be some UI updates related to GIF Frame Interpolation.
I'm also working on preserving the alpha channel (transparent background) after GIF frame interpolation, and implementing "Target FPS" mode for GIFs, which could be available in the next update or near future updates.

The NEXT beta update will bring an improved video processing pipeline for waifu2x, focusing on enhanced video color accuracy.

In the next update, the [Maintain consistent Video FPS] feature will receive the following enhancements and bug fix. These updates should be able to resolve the previous video frame rate consistency issues:
The last beta update, v3.121.12-beta, is having video & audio syncing issue due to the updated ffmpeg plugins in this version.
