This feels like one of those magical episodes. They hook you in, right from the start. I must say Peter Capaldi has the BEST storyteller voice. That rich, gravelly and deep tone just makes you want to stop and... LISTEN.

WOW, I really love this episode! It took me by complete surprise and I adored getting more Wes backstory. I won't say too much here as I've said it all in the outro (and SPOILERS), but VERY well done episode. So good!

I've always loved Robin Hood, so this episode was a really fun adventure! I also found out recently that some of my ancestors are actually from Nottingham, sooooo it's likely I'm actually related to Robin Hood and he WAS real - just putting that out there 🤣

Angel 5x6 The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco

Ahhh I really enjoyed this one, although it was a bit emotionally heavier and more sad than usual. A really deep story with meaning, and we finally get to know more about the masked mailman 😊

The scene in the hallway after the altercation is so well done, just hilarious 🤣

Doctor Who 8x01 Deep Breath

And we are BACK with a brand new Doctor! I know nothing about Peter Capaldi, but from what I've seen so far - he's left me impressed. I love that he is an older Doctor. I feel it's so suitable coming from the 11th Doctor and what he had to endure in the many years leading up to his regeneration. It just feels right to me that the Doctor is weathered and worn a bit.

I am so ready for this season - Geronimo 😊

I adore that man. He is like a version of Giles to me. He is my Good Place Giles. I feel so bad for him, he really does seem to be trying so hard to be such a good architect and manager and the poor guy... It is just so sad (but also comical, sorry for laughing, Michael) to see him in his grey hoodie, all sad and forlorn.

(kinda loving that every episode leaves me wanting MORE as they always seem to end it JUST RIGHT 🤣)

I love how this episode caught me by surprise. Never do I know what is in an episode I'm about to watch (and I love that!!) so this one left me feeling ALL sorts of ways. VERY excited, amazed, sad, confused - it gave me all the emotions!
