0.5.5.2 Release

Since my last post, I spent my time on fixing tons of errors, also I overhauled inventory system for 3-4 days, since I didn't want to fix the current shop system, and instead I expended current inventory system by making it much more flexible for trading and also adding possibility of sharing your items between your party. It's quite complex and currently it feels a bit messy, bugs are expected but there is none that I know currently. I'll probably polish it in future.

Hello everyone, I'm sorry to say that ShySeel and I were very sick for a week, we couldn't get much work done this week.

Current Progress

 Hello everyone, for the past 2 weeks I'm dealing with projects conversion into new version of the engine while fixing some bugs and cleaning up my code in the mean time. Roadmap

 I paused monthly charging for our patrons as we have decided to take a break this month. Many of you might just discovered us, but we've been working on this project for 2.5 years and we didn't took any break for more then half a year now and I think this is good time to take some time off.

Upcoming Update

 0.5.5 was really exhausting, I worked in an unhealthy way for a long time and I felt depleted after that release. 0.5.5.17 Patch Notes

 

 Previous update had lots of game breaking bugs, but this update should make it more playable. I kind of rushed and made too many last minute changes, I'm still not used to frequently updating.

In the mean time we are remaking forest assets, you'll see some part of it in this patch. I'll add missing dialogues and I also plan to slightly change how loot system works in the next update.

 As much as I wanted to release an update today, both me and ShySeel worked hard for the previous update, so we decided to a little break. I still planned to release and update even if it wasn't much, but I had to deal with a game breaking bug for the last several days, which prevented me from adding content I planned.

 It's been hard 2.5 months, especially this 2 weeks since I was away from home, we all worked really hard for this update. I really felt under the pressure since there is no way I could make this release early, but I feel like it was worth it.

 From now on, development should go much smoother. We had to remake lot's of thing to ensure that we won't have to make changes at basics again, since that requires remaking every content we have until that point.

 I failed to release the new update at the given time unfortunately, mostly due to a critical issue with my cutscene system and also there was some several other small issues. Everything is fixed now as far as I'm aware and I'm currently adding content and play testing at the same time. Progress Report

 Hello everyone! New update is coming along nicely, especially with kaanslmn dumping us a lot of sfx and bgm, which adds so much feeling to the game. I'm refining nearly every system I had up until now and ShySeel is also going over a lot of things. It takes time but we want to complete every system as much as we can before adding further content. Old vs. New Improvements

0.4b3 - Small update, mostly performance optimization

 Since the beginning, I never had a performance problem. But with new map Old Mine, increasing asset count, some technical improvements and upcoming mini map, I needed a loading screen, in which game draws the map when player first enters the room. Mini map still very rough though. It can be activated by using 'skill 4' key when not in combat(I forgot to turn off debug text, oh well..).

It's been 3 months since our last update. It's a long time, but we tried our best in order to add as much as we can.  We are excited to show what we accomplished so far!

NPCs

Improved Combat System

 Since last build, I mostly worked on story and combat system. I'll add new dialogues while changing old ones, cutscenes will be slightly different too.
