Chapter 6 - Las Vegas

This has got to be my favorite of all the Chapter title images.... <3 Which should come as no surprise to anyone who knows me-- Las Vegas is where I grew up! I'm very much looking forward to this chapter, as it will be a bit of an homage to my hometown. And... I don't want to spoil too much, but I will say that this chapter is going to be the polar opposite of the last one. So get ready for some real fun lol.

Chapter 6 - 1

Oh, you thought you'd seen the last of Beau and Sage in TLLT???? I’m curious to know, for those of you that played through Episode 1 of “A Sight for Sore Eyes”, how long do you think it took you to play through it? if you played through it multiple times, I’m wondering how long you think your first play took. Just make your best guess :)

A Sight for Sore Eyes! - Launch day!!!!

Top left weve got Jaxsen and Kinley in a rare moment of dominance. I wanted to draw him using a toy on Jaxsen (because, if you don't know this about Kinley, he refuses to stick his dick in any booty). But Jaxsen is a happy verse who would be sad never to bottom again, so they gotta find ways to compromise!!! Having Jaxsen's wrist and feet tied was sort of an unexpected little twist that I'm happy I did!

If you read a lot of other slice of life/romance webcomics, I’m especially curious how you would rate TLLT. How “serious” of a story do you think it is? 1 being not at all serious (a very silly little nonsense comic) and 10 being the opposite.

Meet the parents (doodles)

Some nice doodles for tonight!!! I wanted to do a bit of character design with Harver's parents, so I gave you guys my spark notes on them. They're a divorced, older pair with very different lifestyles. (Pretty obvious to see why they didn't work out). I won't go too far into detail with them, because they will have a roll to play in the beginning of "Fine By Me" when the time comes, but it's fun to give you a taste.

Chapter 5 - 10.5

Well, this is probably the most "boring" update of TLLT to date, and for that I have to apologize lol. After such a heavy scene between Fletch and Kinley I do think a transition back into their road trip was needed. We see just enough to know that Kinley talked to Dick and Priscilla, and Fletch went back to Judas for some much needed comfort (and sleep lol).

A more ambitious Mccull probably would have taken this transition and ran it right into the next scene-- to make it a longer more ...

So a little bit of a spoiler for the Kickstarter backers-- but this is the design for the bookmarks that will be coming with the extra merch pledge. Chapter 5 - 10

:') We.... made it! It may not be the big "hug it out" and everything is fine scene that you expected... but I think this is more realistic of them. Kinley isn't magically healed and over Fletch... and still has a long road of healing to go, but this is the beginning of it. And I promise, it's never gonna be heavier for him in this comic than it has in this scene. You've got nowhere to go but up but here, Kin.

Relationship Weight

I think Jaxsen is the type of person that has a good metabolism naturally and can eat whatever he wants without ever gaining any weight, and while Kinley is the most toned/fit out of everyone, he really has to work for it. Somethingsomething about "gay skinny" stereotypes and being a gym rat and feeling the need to make himself more desirable.

To be clear, I'm not saying its a bad thing to be a gym rat or care about how "fit" you look-- but I AM saying that relationship weight is cute ...
