I had realized that I had neglected Rods for a bit so I have a few in the pipeline planned, this one is a combination again based towards unique versatility and some different uses of low end spells. It is also one of the first that I worked a breaking mechanic into, which is pretty rare for me!

Greetings All!
Continuing the roll on Darts with a styled Shuriken.
This is a Shuriken largely inspired by my little one binging Naruto while I was feverish on the couch, nothing like passing on some shared entertainment with the new generation. I was happy with the results and loved the idea of an air elemental ability being attached to a thrown weapon. Like most critical triggers, this should be most interesting in the hands of an Assassin Rogue.

Continuing the roll on Darts with a styled Shuriken.

Normally I publish the new base item along with the magical version of it, but it will have to wait until next week. This is based off of the aptly named ‘Splitting Maul’ which is the combination of an Axe/Hammer. So that means, in this fantasy purpose it is a Maul/GreatAxe - dealing bludgeoning or slashing damage, selected at the time of the Attack Action to which side it is in use.

A later post today, pulling some extra duties around the house this AM. Luckily, the extra time since Thursday has been put into balancing this base item a little better.
Originally a combination of a Maul/Great Axe, it became a base 1d10 for both sides. This balance with it having an additional property to swap damage types, while not quite as strong as Reach, it still fits better with a 1d10 in exchange for versatility.

Finally another Staff! Built off the SRD examples with 1-3 level spells contained in a rare, occasionally with an additional feature. Originally named Staff of the Catcher, but I lamented turning off comments.. Which might still happen.
Thematically, this is built to detain and capture. Perhaps something for NPCs who really are about to ruin a fleeing parties day?

Finally getting some energy back and updating quite a few of these for upload tonight. I realized that I had made only two darts, the Fester’s Beak and Jelly.
So to counterbalance my weird darts, I made something a bit more multi-use and less gross. This is a combination of either damage or a minor ability similar to Faerie Fire.

Well, I have gone and done it now. First a Brick and now Suspenders.

Happily catching up with a new take on a Healer’s Kit, and I got to sneak in another reference to the Green Path!
It has 8 charges compared to the standard 10, but since it recharges it is not a major issue. The idea of it regaining charges and having an additional option when fully charged, I thought it fit the idea quite nicely. I hope you enjoy it!
