This week I actually spent most of the time in bed sick with the flu. Fever shakes, coughing, vomiting, coughing so hard I vomitted. It was pretty awful. I just started to feel like a person again yesterday.
In the last day-ish, I was able to get a little more work done on the face deforms. I was really hoping to have all the weight mapping done by this week's updated, but playing hide-and-seek with Death got in the way.

This week I've been in search of a more beautiful face. The currently released version uses blendshapes for all the face deforms. Expanding on this has proven to be extremely limiting, frustrating and tedious.

I guess there's technically no nudity in this one, so public update!
I spent this week working on the mouth physics. Mouths are complicated. There's a ton of moving, jiggling, form-fitting and stretchy parts.
There's still some tweking to do, but it's coming along well.
I also smoothed out the areola's a bit.

Again?! Yes again. No builds for like 6 months, then like 4 in a week.
Anyway, with this one, I was getting reports that some folks were seeing the character models as all black. With less fantastic graphics cards, the new shaders weren't working and the fallbacks were not being picked up for some reason. So apparently player death jacked up the whole game up and required a full restart. I thought that quitting to main menu would have allowed the game to start over, but it did not.
This update adds a simple checkpoint at the door to your room. If you die, you respawn with full health at the door. Nothing else in the scene changes.

Alright! So, I'm up way past my bedtime writing this. I was engaging in a little crunch time to get this build out. I been running through tests all day and there were several issues that came up. I've ironed those out and it's looking pretty good now. One remaining known issue is that the NPC Guards kind of slide around weirdly when you hit them, but it's not bad and I'll figure that out soon enough.

The introduction is now finished up. Through your initial conversation with the Under Proxy, she'll form an opinion of you. You'll get an idea of how she feels about you at the end of the introduction.
The conversation has quite a few options. You can play through multiple times to see the various sequences and see how your responses affect the Under Proxy's opinion of you.

Fun stuff this week, but it doesn't make for great visuals. The picture here is almost all of the first dialog tree. You could get through it in as little as 6 responses or as many as a lot.
The blue boxes are Player responses and gray is the NPC dialog. Your responses, most of them, shape the NPC's perception of you. How they perceive you, determines how they interact with you.

New Webplayer is being uploaded now. This week the GUI was implemented so all the options that were finished up last week are now available.
The auto-scaling and auto-populating took a bit more time than I had hoped, but it's in!

Oh man what a busy week! I started out adding to the rig so the butt could jiggle. That broke so many of the things. My prefabs did not like the addition to the armature. Fortunately I was able to implement a system which fixed all the things and will allow me to add more bones in the future if need without the total implosion of the whole project.

New Webplayer was put up earlier in the week. Since then there's been good progress. I've been working on revising some of my old shaders to get multiple layers available for hair roots, makeup and skin tight clothes. The shader also allows for HSV variations so the skin color can have significant variance. Also working on hair models which are coming along very nicely. I'm able to combine blendshapes and unity cloth for adjustable lengths of flowing hair. Quite pleasing....

Fetish/Sexual preferences framework is in place. I'm setting that aside for now to focus on more vital components. I was playing another adult game earlier this week and all the characters had the same dead expression on their faces. Turn off. So, facial expression blendshapes are now in Vizier's Shame. There's over 50, which should give a pretty good range of emotion.
