Today I'm posting a Photoshop + mouse sketch I did looking at one of Christobal Balenciaga's iconic designs.
I have to say that I was pretty hyped for making digital art like this back then, but finishing one took ages. Don't know if I wanted to try this again today. I prefer going 3d ;)

Well, after doing the first working rig for this outfit and trying to smoothen it, I quickly realized that this is probably the worst skirt type to weightpaint I ever worked with :D
The worst thing is that you have a narrow skirt and you try to keep the legs geometry there. It's just impossible to avoid clipping
From one side It's fitted and you need to really watch out around the calf and tigh bones.

I managed to do some serious stitching yesterday. These boning channels are pretty long ones. They took hours to paint :D and maybe they're not that super visible if you make the thread dark grey, but they do the job as a nice detail in closeups.

I found a nice Black Elf Dress inspiration while chatting on our Discord Server with my dear Patron 2xGHoSTx2, and I couldn't resist starting it in 3d. :D
It will basically consist of a smooth long black dress and an off-shoulder jacket. The initial model starts to look good. :)
I think that the end of 2021 will be busy, but hopefully we'll have two new outfits soon.

The Vampire Armor project continues.
Today I refined the neck piece geometry and I'm quite happy with how it works. I also added some extra straps to the bodice and reshaped the decollete. Also an initial form for the skirt is present but still needs some love.
Next up is adding some geometric details like belts satchels and so on.

it's almost Wednesday, so I'm keeping you updated with the latest modding progress.
Here are some screen tests of our latest retex for the Helena Modrzejewska Gown. I experimented quite a bit with the fur texture and alpha settings. I guess it turned out quite nice. Especially in the closeups :)
The new retex will be available in the beginning of October. I have to do some tests also for the upcoming black version.
