A Little Kirby Valentine

I always try to draw my wife a little something for Valentine's Day and we've all been pretty into Kirby here in the Maihack household ever since the smallest of us got "...and the Forgotten Land" for Christmas. Not to mention there's always at least one of us who gets to use the adorable pink beachball in Smash Bros (usually the person winning).

Here's another warm-up sketch to start the week. I was pretty captivated by Rihanna's half-time show last night and woke up with a pretty heavy desire to draw her. That outfit she was wearing was so rad! The entire performance was rad. Made me glad I tuned in.

Anyhoo, now that that's out of my system, onward to more responsible uses of my time. :)

Bat Watching

Here's my first watercolor sketch of 2023, even if it looks like it was something I might've drawn during the spooky season (the patron wanted a bit of Halloween thrown in). Imagine this is the early hours of Nov 1st after Kara has finally crashed and Babs is enjoying some much needed Me Time. :)

Happy Friday, all! Here's a young Leia Organa (from the far too criticized Obi-Wan Kenobi show) to cap off the work week. A Harley Ivy Christmas (2016)

In 2016, I decided to take a break from doing a Batgirl Supergirl holiday comic (although they still make a cameo) in favor of focusing on Harley and Ivy instead. I've always loved their dynamic even before their relationship was a legit thing. Their personalities are such at odds that I can't help but root for them. Plus, they're fun to draw!
