Hey, this is only... uh... a month and some change late.
I was stupid with that lousy old Samus animation. I didn't actually sync it to any music. Sorry, people who used that in their LoFi mix tape streams. Your beats weren't fire because the visuals ruined them. I have failed you.
So, I decided to like, for once, look up some real animation theory. It's crazy! There are people out there who figured out how to do stuff so you don't have to!
Here's the site I found, it's super cool: https://www.animatorisland.com/animating-to-music/

I specifically used this chart. If this animation looks a bit quicker, it's because it is. I've been animating at 24 FPS, this is 25 FPS. Damn, big leap.
There's still some jankiness to this, but I'll keep going over the article and polishing it. The head bob specifically looks off, but I'll figure it out.
What song have I synced this to, you ask?
I, in my infinite wisdom, have synced it to Crab Rave.
I've been listening to Crab Rave for hours. I see crabs when I close my eyes. On the plus side, I'm now immune to torture, at least.
