I love watching women pamper and primp each other. There is something so loving about these acts; someone’s hair, helping with their eyeliner, sipping up their dress, doing the clasp on a necklace, helping them with their stockings. We’re always workshopping new ways to elevate our fun for coven events.

The artist and stylist that lives on the top floor of the mansion invited all of us to come through her apartment and be nosy. We’d been curious about the upper floor for years, it was a real treat to peek beyond the mysterious top staircase. Even more so when she told us we could thrift her collection of clothing from her shoots and work as a stylist!

There’s a real “running to beat the buzzer” energy happening for me right before the party starts on Saturday night. It’s tough sometimes to squeeze everything in, and be mindful of how my energy is affecting everyone else. Calm and collected is the goal, but not always the reality.

At every Slumber Party we start with an opening circle to establish rules and goals for the night.
