Square Keep Hill

A vibrant hill for our proud Square Keep to rest upon, complete with subterranean basement and (optional) secret tunnel entrance.

If you want to turn the square keep into something of a stealth-heavy infiltration mission, this map is for you. With a little searching or some inside information, your player characters can learn of the tunnel hidden beneath one of the clear-cut stumps amidst the brush.

Perhaps it is the stealthiest way inside? Maybe the party's goal is to free a pris...

Your 2-Minute August Update

July has come and gone and it's August already, yikes. Not only that, but we're already four days in!

Last month we created and destroyed the Square Keep and added a bunch of treasure assets to our collection. Behind the scenes, the Token Editor is undergoing a glorious rebirth, and the website itself is getting some belated TLC. Our website downloads should be much faster and more reliable now, and I'm working on making the whole site similarly faster and more reliable too.

Treasure Assets

Congratulations, you have found the treasure hoard of 2-Minute Table Top! Inside are 104 prized assets depicting gold piles, weapons of legend, and every treasure imaginable (to me and our discord contributors).

Each asset is appropriately named this time, making it easier to organize and search for specific treasures. They also come in 300 DPI (for high-res work), 72 DPI (for Roll20), and 60 D...

45 Hours To Go!

Hi everyone, this is just a small reminder for those of you who were considering supporting the Mimic's Grid Kickstarter.

You can click the link below to read about my artist's addon pack. I intend to start with the Square Keep alongside as many camping supplies as I can squeeze on my allocated canvas. With these, your adventuring party can immerse themselves in REALLY setting up camp at the end of their hobo-murdering day. They'll also be good for roaming bandits, keep squatters, and t...

Square Keep Battle Map

Hail, heroic Patrons! Today's battle map is a layered Square Keep, a formidable tower fit for a villain, or heroes utilizing MCDM's Strongholds & Followers. Be it an abandoned relic or a furnished fort, I'm sure that you can find a place for it in your campaign.

Your 2-Minute July Update

Hi everyone! June was another photo finish despite my best efforts, haha.

I spent much of the start of the month getting the Token Editor out the door, which I believe was a worthy investment of time, especially as we start adding furniture, wagons, town tokens, and all sorts of other goodies into it.

We're still adding some necessary features to it before all those things are available (namely default colors, so that you don't have to color every single layer every time) bu...

Town & City Assets Pt.2

I've really been in an asset making mood this last week! Right after the Bandit Camp Assets I jumped into this one, since I just didn't think one pack of city assets was enough.

This one is a little different though. First of all, it will soon be available for customization in the Token Editor. Second, all of these pre-colored assets have a DPI setting, meaning they will all import into image edit...

Bandit Camp Assets

Changelog: (May 9th 2025) - Updated the Bandit Camp Assets to include higher DPI assets, better naming scheme, higher DPI map, and bonus map variant!

Howdy! I've been hard at work the last few days building a collection of seventy one cowboy-caravan-themed assets, including horses, wagons, tents, and everything in-between.

My game of the month has been Red Dead Redemption 2, and these assets came from some drawing study I did in trying to understand the components...

10 Island Encounters

Troy has written another 10 encounters (on his way to 20) this time with an islands-at-sea theme. You can use it as a random table or just creative inspiration, and it's completely free.

As always, it's littered with map suggestion throughout to make your encounter planning as ea...

River Rapids

Hi again! Welcome to our latest map, the River Rapids. This map features a vibrant color scheme, some large rock faces fit for a campsite, and a collection of boulders that might serve as a bridge.

I wanted to explore some more high contrast line work for this map, which you can see at play in the leaves of the trees, the gaps in the rocks faces, and in the rapids. I was really laying down the ink (at least compared to usual) and had a lot of fun with it. I'd like to explore it more in ...

River Rapids (Australia)

Seeing as this map was inspired by a place I visited, it seemed fitting that I do a true-to-life color variant. Though I call it an Australian color scheme, I think it also looks rather jungle-y. I hope you enjoy this little bonus map!

The Mountain Monastery

This map was a personal challenge to mimic an authentic watercolor painting style, and I think we just about did it. Obviously it's far from perfect, but it has character, and I stretched my skills trying to make it so. Those two things are what I aim for with each map, so I'll count this as a success, even if I'm not quite satisfied with it!

I also rather like the line-on...

Your 2-Minute June Update

Hello everyone – what a month May has been! Below I have a short update, and a summary of what I plan to work on in June. If you're just here for the coupon, please feel free to skip to the bottom. ;)

I started May with the promise that I would make another token pack before I started anything else, and wow did that snowball. I don't have anything bad to say about the tokens (I think they turned out quite nice) but getting all 20 done took the better half of the month, and caused me t...

Sea Monster Tokens

Twenty shiny new tokens, and our first pack of monsters to boot! It's filled with Sahuagin, Kua Toa, cursed pirates, and other terrors of the depths. A great supplement for any DM running Ghosts of Saltmarsh, and a fun resource for everyone else!

Inside the download ZIP you will find all twenty tokens pre-colored as you see above. Worry not if you want pink Sahuagin or a koi-themed Aboleth, though! I am working on the Token Editor – which just needs a few tweaks before it is ready for...

The Ice Temple

Our jungle temple went so well that I decided to make a trio of such temples in the style of Pokemon starters; grass, fire and water. This is the "water" one, the Ice Temple.

This map begs for some tricky concentration checks on the ice, and perhaps something a little more deadly should anyone attempt to slide and jump the gap! I suggest lobbing some spells or arrows at them from the platform above too, just to hurry them along. ;)

After they make it to the icy platform, their tro...

The Jungle Temple

Hello! Yes, I am still alive and well. I know that you haven't heard much from me this month, but I have a flurry of maps to share with you over the next few days, starting with this frog-themed Jungle Temple.

This map was born of a rough draft sent to me by Marc-Antoine Arseneault. I didn't precisely follow his clever plans, but instead took it as loose inspiration to create this lush green temple in the jungle.

The entirety of this map's creation was streamed on Twitch, where I ...

10 Encounters at Sea

10 Encounters at Sea is a little something extra I wanted to share with you all: a 1d10 encounter list by my good brother Troy, accompanied by a bunch of free battle maps.

How to use our Ocean Surface Assets (and others)
