We're off to a solid start this year, with four new maps added to the gallery. Thank you everyone for your support, and welcome to the many new folk who have joined us this January!

By the way, I'm going to Japan again next month! I hope to fill up my visual library and recharge my creative batteries, and work on some flight of fancy maps while I'm at it. I expect the release schedule will be st...

I've learnt enough since I started the Desert Oasis map that I wanted to try a paint-over today, and what do you know, I am very pleased with the result! Though still much more abstract than my established style, this one has much more detail, plus I much prefer its colors and forms. I think it's a far superior battle map to version one.

I haven't said so anywhere yet, but I'm actually going to Japan ...

Hi everyone, I've been trying something new! What do you think?
I've always been an artist who leans completely on his line art, and I wanted to exercise this new style in order to round out my skills. I have a lot of room for improvement when it comes to values and color harmony (among other things) and this line-free style demands a lot of thought in those areas. It was a fun exercise, and I think I may return to fairly often if it's received well!
This was all done start-to-finish on ...

I've spent the better part of this week putting together a brand new set of tokens to supplement our growing Roadside Tileset. There's 42 tokens in total, all optimized for Roll20, plus this 22x16" demo map pictured below.
As you can see, they can be used to great effect with our recent Grass & Road<...

Perhaps the most boring map release in history, but far from the most useless! These two maps tile seamlessly with themselves, and will be a great base for the upcoming Roadside Tokens pack.

Please note, the awkward 8.5" wide grid won't tile perfectly when printed, but the seamlessness will work great on virtual table tops. You can either rotate the map so that the 0.5" edges meet, or overlap those ed...

Hi everyone! I'm behind on this week's map, but I have these all drawn up from my last D&D game, and I thought all might appreciate them.
The first four on the left are my players' characters, then two samurai NPCs, and looming in the back is the chain-lightning-casting-BBEG who gave them so much trouble last game.
Please enjoy, and you can look forward to another map next week. :)

I'm mixing these dungeon tiles into the map-making schedule again. I know how useful and well-loved they are! I recommend sprinkling in some Castle Furniture if you want to make it feel lived in.
I'll make a more generic walls-and-floors set soon, but what other prefab rooms would you like to see? I think we have enough arena rooms, so I might try a trap of some sort next...

2018 had a rough landing, but here it is, safe and sound. We flew through the storm of proposed-and-reverted Patreon fee changes and came out perfectly intact. Though it really shook things up, it has proved just how resilient and supportive you are, and I am immensely grateful for that.

I'm quitting my job this month to work creatively full time! It's slowly dawning on me how blessed I am to...

An ominous, blood-soaked altar has appeared deep in the wilderness, in a shallow cave under a stout hill. What could be its origin, or its purpose?
I want to experiment a lot more with my art in 2018, and I thought I would start with this high contrast digital piece. It's freeing to know I can make a map start-to-finish on my laptop, though I will definitely be keeping hand-drawn maps a staple around here. :)

A buried, bloody altar in the middle of nowhere is even more chilling in the dead of night. Perhaps some fiend has made the burrow its lair, feeding on the dark energy?

Due to all the turmoil this month caused by Patreon's proposed-then-reverted fee changes, and the fact that many of you needed time to swap back from per-month to per-creation again, I have kept from making any paid posts until now. Thus, I am reposting the Roadside Rise & Wilderness and Camp & Clearcut as paid posts, along with the new Hillside Altar. You will only be charged for these three maps this month.

A camp alongside the road, and a clear cut patch of trees. Fun fact, I originally meant to draw a growth of live trees, but forgot to etch out the shadows until it was too late. I like how it turned out though! The live trees can wait.
This is not a paid post yet. I'm waiting for everyone on the old monthly payment schemes to switch back before I put all of December's maps through as paid posts at the end of the month.

I'm finally back to what I enjoy: making maps!
I had a passing idea while walking the dog the other day (week) to try out some one-page tiling road battle maps. These are the first two, purposely generic so you can extend the more interesting ones to come; campsites, ambushes, toll booths, etc.
I'd love to hear your feedback. Are they too narrow? Do the imperfect intersection bother you?
I also would like to mention that I consider two of these tiles as one "map" in terms of my...

Hi again everyone. Thank you for your support, reassurance, and advice these past hours! This post is following up on my earlier New Patreon Fees and Popular Changes one, so please see that if you are out of the loop.
In summary, Patreon's new fee scheme lumps an unforgivable 38% extra on the $1 pledge tier, which so happens to make up over 80% of 2-Minute Table Top's generous crowd. In response, I'...

A winding staircase leading to a snowy plateau, serving as a convenient arena, shrine, or building foundation, depending on your needs! You might even crop off the backside of the mountain and call it a ledge - a good place for a lair entrance, perhaps of a crystalline nature?

A short time ago, a star fell from the heavens and landed upon this hill, topping it with a glittering blue crown. These celestial crystals are unbearably cold to the touch, and have covered the area in a blanket of unseasonable snow.
