MOB OF THE DEAD - CRAFTABLES 09/02/24

This week on Mob I've been working on the framework for craftables! They're both fully implemented and work perfectly, the Acid Gat kit and the Zombie Shield! They're set up as shared inventory meaning that once all parts are found you can craft them regardless of who found the part (this will stop people griefing in public lobbies). MOB OF THE DEAD - TOWER TRAP 02/02/24

This week for Mob I've been working on finishing off the functionality for all the traps, namely the tower trap! I had this in the map a while back but recently completed the functionality for the Rocket Launcher upgrade.

MOB OF THE DEAD 19/01/24

This week I've been working on getting the Blundergat and Tomahawk ready for the map! The animations for both of these we're done by a friend of mine called Chens while i worked on scripting the both of them! I've also done the Acid Gat this week as well as started on the upgrade quest for the Hell's Redeemer and the free Blundergat easter egg. MOB OF THE DEAD 12/01/24

Mob of the Dead this week has mainly been miscellaneous tasks. I've been focussing on polishing up all the features currently implemented into the map before I make a start on adding new ones, I've also been rigorously bug hunting for any game breaking issues that may be present at this stage in development so I can weed them out now before they become an even bigger problem later down the road!

This week on MOTD, Brutus is finally ready to be shown off! I've had a bit of trouble with his functionality last time I was working on him but he's finally in a state now where I'm pretty happy with how he plays! VEGAS - ARCADE 05/01/24

This week on Vegas I've been working on porting some of the arcade machines from Spaceland to use around the map as side activities! Here is a showcase of the "Rings of Saturn" Basketball minigame! This week I've been working on completing the geometry for the entire island as well as detailing a few areas around the prison. The whole island is completed now and is ready to be detailed! I'd like for the whole prison to be visible from the bridge for players to be able to look back at, I think it will be really cool to be able to leave your friends behind on the plane and be able to look back and see them running around on the roof! BUG FIXES 22/12/2023

Just a text post this week unfortunately as my PC is currently unplugged as I rearrange my space, i’ll be sure to make another update as soon as i’m back up and running though! UNTITLED "VEGAS" PROJECT - 15/12/23

This week on Vegas I've been working on revising the layout of the map to try make sure it flows properly before I start working on any crazy details! Specifically this section at the far end of the map has been giving me a bit of trouble, I've decided to open it up and create a new pathway going around and behind the hotel, I'm hoping it'll give players more options on where to go when playing the map as before the area was very linear, only allowing players to go towards the hotel entrance....

Another week, another Project update! This week I've been working on the functionality for the plane craftable as well as the take off sequence landing you at the Goldengate Bridge! MOB OF THE DEAD - PERKS 08/12/23

This week I have also done all the effects / sound design for the perk machines, making them warp in and out like they do on the original, I made the textures for them all individually in my own style and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out! The base for the FX was made by GCP and he released it for free on the mod tools discord for anyone who'd like to make similar effects for their perk machines!

MOB OF THE DEAD - AFTERLIFE 08/12/23

This week dobby has finished the script for the afterlife mechanic! It has been implemented fully into the map and is ready for playtests, here is a small preview of it working in action! The fx and animations are still a work in progress as of right now but all of the core gameplay features are present such as being able to power on doors/perks, zombies ignoring the player and increased mobility!

UNTITLED "VEGAS" PROJECT 01/12/23

This week I've been focused purely on concept design for my Vegas project, specifically about the 4 main characters as well as the wonder weapon for this map.
