Here it is- the edited version of that mess that was posted last week...lol. I think it did end up becoming a lot more structured, but I am sorry for the amount of repeating myself that I did in this video. Either way, I hope you enjoyed this much more compact version of why Queen Maeve deserves more love online. Truly one of the best characters from that cast.
Thanks for watching (especially if you watched the edited one too). If you're here, even as a free supporter, we thank you for...

Like all of last season, we LOVED this episode of HOTD. It did a great job of establishing where the emotional states of all our characters were after the events of the finale, and then ended with an absolutely unbelievable shock! This show is able to make our jaws drop to the floor better than any other, and this episode was no exception.
We can't believe everything that Daemon did and are so worried for what this means next! War has been on the horizon for so long, we don't even see...

Queen Maeve is just one of those characters that is not hard to like. From day one, she has always shown that there's more to her than meets the eye, and that she is genuinely better than most of her coworkers. She's always lending a helping hand to our team, even if she's not directly involved with their plotting. But despite whatever she's going through, she always finds a way to summon the courage needed to help the Boys. And she goes through so much, it's incredible the amount of strength...

Bojack ends in a very bittersweet place. We'd like to see our characters overcome their differences, fix their faults, and live on to be friends forever, but unfortunately, that isn't how life works. We all need to just do what's best for us. In Diane's case, that means distancing herself from Bojack at PC's wedding. It was time for her to move forward with her life, and she needed to put Bojack behind her to do that. She couldn't always be around to take care of him, and she needed to be abl...

Butcher is such a magnetic character within the universe of the Boys, even if i he doesn't have much power in terms of a bare-knuckle brawl with a supe. Despite that, he leverages his smooth-talking ways, charisma, and determination to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. And what he wants is certainly reasonable. Homelander's gotta go. But the way he goes about achieving this goal can be extremely underhanded at times.
Even through that, though, people LOVE this character (me inc...

It's been a while since we've done a wins video- I wanted to make sure we didn't lean too much into the whole "wins" formula and established our own style. That being said, I hope you enjoy because I love making these videos! Especially for perfect episodes of television like this. There are so many details to admire and focus on in this episode, it just makes sense to list them all off- one-by-one.
This episode has always left a strong impression with fans for it's horrifying depiction...

There's a big reason why everyone refers to the situation with Sarah Lynn as "the worst thing Bojack has ever done". And not for good reason. Sarah Lynn had a full life ahead of her, and what occurred in the series is nothing short of absolutely tragic. It still remains to this day to be one of the most heartbreaking moments of the entire show.
I think that Sarah Lynn is also written extremely well. I mean, she starts off shaky in season one, but so does everyone else. For the most part...

Jeeeeez. What a finale. Very hard-hitting and emotionally exhausting, just like Invincible ought to be. I actually cried during the aftermatch of the fight with Angstrom. Even though I didn't like him, and even after all of the incredible shocks he gave us throughout this fight, it was extremely difficult to see Mark deal with the consequences of killing someone else. And we are both worried for where his character is going to be going forward. Thank goodness Debbie is alright so that she ca...

Wow. Just wow. We were all waiting for the other shoe to drop with the Viltrum Empire this entire season, and they did not disappoint. Anissa is a terrifying villain that I am positive we will be seeing more of throughout the series...and that scares the heck outta me. Her raw strength and cold demeanor reminded us that Viltrum has a whole lot more than just Nolan to offer. What an episode to showcase the strength that they have in store for us in the coming seasons.
We've really been e...

Soldier Boy has always fascinated me, because he's one of the most toxic characters in the show, but he comes with such a strong backing from the fanbase. Like, seriously, people are criticizing Butcher for not siding with him. He was going to murder Ryan. I know the ending isn't super sweet, but...wow.
Not to mean that I didn't like him too. I loved his presence and I found him to be an absolutely HILARIOUS part of the cast. Sure, I wish we could have some more time with him (who knows...

Honestly, not sure if this is a controversial opinion or not, but I always felt that this must've been a really tough decision to make, that we never actually see on screen. I think, from a storytelling perspective, it was smart not to have Hollyhock appear, to facilitate the disconnection further, but it did break my heart. However, upon thinking about it, I realize that she must've agonized over this decision. Hollyhock is a genuinely kind person, and she knew what Bojack was going through....

Much calmer episode than last week, despite the fact that Rex was shot in the head within the first two minutes. I mean this show really knows how to mislead you into thinking you've lost more than you have. What a relief that Shrinking Rae might pull through as well. That's a huge comfort considering how much we lost last episode. But they also do a good job showing you at how immense the losses we did recieve were.
This was a really emotional episode, and spent a lot of time with our...

This is a question that I've been pondering since I first watched the show. And, don't worry, because I am included in this particular demographic...but it always confused me why Mr. Peanutbutter seemed to always excel and receive tons of praise when he isn't exactly the best person. He's not as bad as other characters on the show, by any means, but he definitely receives a disproportionate amount of love compared to other characters in the show.
Some of the reasons might be more obviou...

Invincible comes back with an absolutely insane bang. We really thought this episode would be more about building the side-stories than anything else, but it ended up becoming a major turning point for the entire series. I can't believe what happened. It's been a day and I'm honestly still processing. This is going to fundamentally change the Guardians and now I can't wait to see what's next for them.
This episode was also really interesting in terms of development for a lot of our majo...

This is not technically my favorite show of all time (ahem...Bojack), but it is definitely the one that I have rewatched the most. There are so many tiny jokes, visual gags, and character moments to catch, I just couldn't- can't stop. It really is one of the best shows ever made...and I know I exaggerate a lot, but this time it is DEFINITELY true.
Not only are the performances one of a kind, but the writing is so witty and cynical, so they combine to create a perfect blend of comedic ti...

There's always been such weird discussion around Diane as a character, where some fans of the show are just really really vicious toward her as a whole. Bojack, however, struggles to get recognized for his mistakes by many, but Diane is always targeted for what she has to say, and this video can hopefully explain why that is a little bit...besides sexism. Because that's part of it.
I always really felt that Diane was such an important character for the main cast, because she shows that ...

MAJOR GURREN LAGANN SPOILERS! This has still left me in shock to this day. The fact that this happened so early in the series blew my mind, and completely changed the tone of everything that came after it. But I love the risky choice and it definitely pays off for them!
They handle this scene with so much care and attention that it works in the series' favor. I especially appreciate the intense character work they do this episode for Simon. It really propels his character forward in a w...

Ahh...the best character in Bojack Horseman. Some might disagree, but personally, I found her so inspiring and relatable. Every season, her arc would always be filled such adversity, but she always overcame whatever was thrown at her.
Her need to be needed by others and her struggle to need them was also something that hit extremely home for me. And while I found that aspect of her character most compelling, there are plenty of other aspects for others to see in her. She is truly one of...

So, this is an obvious question that no one really seems to ask. Why does anyone who watches this show like this character? Why do we sympathize with him? Why do we want him to succeed?
It's a real mystery, considering everything we've seen him do. In real life, without the context we're given in the show, a lot of people would immediately write him off and "cancel" him. So why don't they do the same for this character? This video is meant to explore why, as it's a question I've a...

I've always loved this scene and never really quite gotten over it. It completely ripped my heart out and filled me with such a weird sense of calm like no other show has really done. It's so easy to remember the huge tragedies of TV, but this scene really brings me a lot of comfort, and is actually an extremely happy departure from the show.
Such great advice (and it's amazingly show, which I kinda neglected to mention). We'll blame it on the emotion.

It's no secret. We all love Todd. I honestly don't think I've ever met a person who's watched this show who earnestly disliked Todd's fun-loving, optimistic persona. He's so necessary for a show like this, as the depression-driven antics of Bojack are bound to get you down at one point or another. But Todd will always lift you back up, like the positive ball of energy he is.
He's also super important in terms of representation for asexuals in television (or media in general). It's not e...

This is probably going to be my favorite episode of this show for the foreseeable future. The animation is top notch, the voice acting absolutely KILLS, and the pacing of the story is at lightning speed. I've never watched a shounen that frames its story this well (aside from AOT, of course). This show is truly showing every other anime how it's done, having amazing characters making huge sacrifices, shocking twists, and the most incredible combat I've seen in years. Thank you, Gege and the a...

Tori gets a ton of hate on the internet, and there aren't really any huge reasons why. Well...there are, but they aren't exactly based on fact. Tori was a favorite character of mine as a child, and it saddens me to see all of this negativity coming toward now from people who misunderstand and misrepresent the actress and the character herself. I think she does an amazing job and is a very understanding and kind person that deserves more credit for her comedic timing and performances. She is, ...

Well...that went about as well as we were expecting. But what a fight! So cool to see Mark finally find his true strength and let his inner Viltrumite out, but it does scare me for what it means for his character. But WHAT A FIGHT...I mean they are going NUTS so far with the animation, we are loving it. Can't wait to see the next part...in a few months.

You know...I could kind of see this coming, and it was such a shame to see it happen earlier rather than later. She was such a full character, with a well-fleshed out personality, and a really brazen manner that made her hard not to like. Her power was fascinating, and I was looking forward to see it develop more. That being said, I do think this was handled with the utmost care and precision. It was an excellent farewell, and I'll miss her forever.

What a place to end on. I am ABSOLUTELY at a loss for what this means for our characters going forward. Obviously, I'd love to see Mark and Omni-Man have a normal relationship, but it's going to be a long time before anyone can forgive Nolan (if they even can) for what he did to earth. He just has too much to make up for, but I can't wait to see where this goes!

We all know it. Judah is one of the most perfect characters we've seen. He hardly ever makes mistakes, and we he does, he owns up to them. He explains his reasoning and always accept the consequences. Honestly, in my opinion, he doesn't make any actual "mistakes" as it were in the show, but...you know how it goes. We understand and love PC.

That episode was absolutely packed with action and worldbuilding. I understand why some wouldn't like it, but I personally love how they pad this world with fun villains and other heroes. It makes it feel more alive and like a full world. This episode really helped do that by giving us context to Aquarus and Atlantis, the Lizard League, the future of Mars...it was really dedicated to all of the side plots that were setup last season. Excellently done, I might add!

Well...we all knew that was coming. But the acting and composition of this show really sold it (again). It's been a while since I've seen that scene (in the game, of course), but this really hit me just as hard as it did the first time. Seeing Joel tear his way through people this season has been...differen than the game. And I think the show deserves praise for this more detailed depiction of Joel.
