It's weird to me how mainstream comics are nowadays.
Anyway, while having insomnia last night it hit me...Garfield isn't just fat and lazy, He's suffering from depression...the overeating, over sleeping, he even calls it a "deep blue funk" occasionally (or used to when I read the strip 250,000 years ago).

Mel and I have a new project we're excited about...so, start the countdown until a similar project gets announced that will derail ours. :D
From my dog dying the night we signed the "My Cage" contracts, to our editor drowning a month before our debut, to most recently...the "Cute Force' fiasco, it's been a long, awful ride! :D You guys have been one of the few upsides to the swath of death and destruction that has been my writing career.
When was a time you had either such unbelievably bad luck or good luck that you, well, couldn't believe it?

John and Joe: You were right about Barbie. Just saw it last night. It was disjointed and could've been trimmed a little (what movie can't these days?), but it as so sincere and just f***ing weird, I loved it. Not what I expected either a Barbie movie or a Greta Gerwig movie would be.
