More horrible pictures! And some actually nice ones! Properly completed deleted sequences! As you'll see the original version of this week's Digi was a LOT longer...

I should warn you... there's some genuine body horror stuff going on here, so proceed with caution, but here are some more of the Midjourney A.I. images - of the many 100s - I had to generate to get to the ones I used in this week's Digi video.
I'm genuinely hooked on this. It might not be art, but in its own way it IS an art form. Some of these honestly look like Star Wars concept art. Some are strangely beautiful. Some of could be too horrific even for David Cronenberg.

Phew. Right. Better late than never.
Excuse me for parping my own horn, but I think we're on a bit of a hot streak with videos at the moment. The most recent run has been everything I want the channel to be... and this ep is no different. It's kind of a follow-up to the recent A.I. art video (so if you don't like disgusting images... well... A.I. art isn't known for its beauty), but we go all-out with it.
This time we really test the limits of what A.I. can do for creativity...

Hello, gang!
Digi and BYAMPOD are going to be late this week. Basically... we lost a day. We recorded on Monday, then after transferring the footage discovered that our mics hadn't been switched on, so had to re-film everything on Tuesday. Which is a pain. Plus, t's a particularly complicated video to edit, as you'll see, with special guests and a whole bunch of cutaways.
Add to that, I've actually had some proper day job work to do (not paid yet... but there are glimm...

EDIT: MAN... I've got to stop sending these BIFFO'S BRAIN posts to all of you! Oh well. Here's an exclusive for everyone...
Off the back of the mention in the last Zoom chat, I found the video of us being caught messing about in West Brompton Cemetery... This was one of many passers-by who were clearly suspecting (right) that we were up to no good.

This is probably going to be a part of next week's Digi - which will feature contributions from a bunch of excellent people - but I thought I'd share it with you lot as an unscheduled Sunday "delight".
Everything you see or hear in this video has been AI-generated, from the title, to the story and dialogue, to the music and voices. Everything sprung from a few choice prompts...
Warning, however: in true A.I. tradition, some of these images are pretty disgusting and gnarly.

This week, I'm looking back at the time Marillion played Milton Keynes Bowl - the biggest audience they ever faced in the UK. Then we have the final word on Marillion setlist, as we look at which albums are the most unrepresented live. Also, sorry for the 10 minute rant about politics.

Morning all! Here are this week's outtakes for you. I think these are a bit meatier than some I've shared. Definitely some good stuff in there, as well as some of the usual candid stuff.
Upper tiers: you've still got a bonus Patreon-only ep on the way, but it's a bit more involved than usual in terms of editing, and today we need to do BYAMPOD. Hopefully next week!
Biffo's Brain gang: see some of you tonight!

FINALLY!!! This video did not want to be edited. Got there in the end. Hope you like it.
Once again, we take a dive into the bizarrely funny depths of Kickstarter to unearth the weirdest and most flat-out strange crowdfunded products and campaigns of all time! Can Sanja guess how badly did they failed? Also: Third Bird is back with his top crypto business advice.
It's another stuff ep that I'm very pleased with, and it's not even clickbait to say you won't see the twis...

Life is in a bit of a holding pattern for us at the moment. I'm waiting on news about work things that'll bring in income, and it's really, really hard to get much of anything else done because... I'm waiting. It's like when I have a meeting later in the day. I really find it difficult to focus until it has passed.
I've been like that all year, to a degree, but until now I did have other stuff to distract me; Digi Level 2... the one episode of a kids show I had to write... and now I don...

Hello all.
The plan this week… we had been hoping to film something out and about today, but I ended up on standby to ferry my dad to and from a hospital appointment, so we didn’t get it done alas. We’re going to aim to do so tomorrow instead. That might mean we’re a day or so late with a Digi this week. Hope that’s okay. We’ll get something bonus-y up for you as well, either extra vids or a podcast. Might be a blog post or two as well for the upper tiers.
We’ll also...

EDIT: This episode is already out of date thanks to Lucy revealing this afternoon that they're going to be announcing PZ details for next year! We shall be doing an emergency re-record, but you lot get to keep this original!
This week is a bit of a mixed bag... we discuss everything from next year's Marillion Weekends, to Fish's Funny Farm Kitchen Garden project. Then we delve back into the postbag for some more letters, discussing the Marillion albums we found most immediate, ...

Still to come this week... next Monday's BYAMPOD, plus a bonus podcast, and an episode of Writer's Club.
Also... next week there might be a new Biffo's Brain stream (busy week though, so... I'll confirm when I can).

New Digi video time!
We bought a bunch of really old postcards with weird messages, and decided to return them to their original destination addresses - by hand! Plus: Biffo flirts with comedy controversy in order to make Sanja uncomfortable...
This is the sort of Digi video I love. It took longer to edit than usual, but it has a bit of everything: desk stuff, outside stuff, Found Footage-y bits... and it's an interesting subject in and of itself, even though it almost immed...

Technically, this is deleted footage - but it's about half the episode we filmed for this week, so consider it basically a brand new standalone episode about the British tradition of the saucy postcard - just for you lot...!
This might've lost a bit of context without the main episode (especially me repeatedly saying you can't say anything these days), but I think it hangs together in its own right.
We're about to film some extra outside bits to go with the rest of the ep (or this...

In this episode of BYAMPOD we spend the first three minutes battling a housefly and discussing butterflies and moths. When we do eventually settle down... we take a look at the latest Marillion DVD (plus one from a while back), then we're joined by Stephen Wicks from the very funny Mockillion page from Facebook. He tells us about making fun of the band... and the recent Stockholm Marillion Weekend.

This video took longer to edit than I'd expected, due to its BIG BUDGET SPECIAL EFFECTS... so, sorry I didn't get it sooner. Anyhow. This features an awful new character, in the best Digi tradition, and the funniest bit of animation I think I've ever done on the channel (features: Tom Hanks). And we launch our own NFTs! (not really...)
So... Dall-E Mini artificial intelligent-generated art is the stuff that memes are made of. But are they funny memes, or just horrific? In this episode, ...

ALL UPPER TIERS:

We've got you next week's ep early!
We've finally reached the end of our setlist statistics trawl, with a look at Marillion's most-played live songs. Where does Neverland come in the ranking? What's the song Marillion have played live more than any other - and is it Fish-era or h-era? And why do we go off at a tangent about prank phone calls??

Seemingly, we were among the few people to avoid getting Covid at the recent UK Marillion Weekend (that didn't stop us getting ill though)... Which led us to discuss the risks of gigging in a 'post'-pandemic world.
After that, we resume our look at Marillion's setlist statistics, with a selection of songs from somewhere in the middle, including some of the epics - Ocean Cloud, Interior Lulu, and Grendel.
Lastly... what would you call a Marillion tribute band fronted by...

Happy Monday, all. Hope you had a lovely Platty Jubes (sorry) weekend.
As you've no doubt been aware, we're a bit behind with some things. In fact, all the things. It was inevitable that it’d all start slipping once we started prep for Digi Level 2, but before all that, Sanja obviously had Covid for a week or so, which had already put us on the back foot… and then we had to film Digi Level 2… and then we had to recover from Digi Level 2… and then last week I got absolutely floor...

Hello, everyone. I was looking for something for the Writer's Club peeps... and came across a file that I thought I'd share with all of you upper tiers, as it has a Found Footage connection.
I'd love to do a brand new Found Footage... heck, I'm desperate to... but I'm not sure the appetite is there to crowd-fund one. Hence me trying to sneak FF-y bits and bobs into Digi instead.&nbs...
