The testers finally have the FIRST build of DF to start kicking it around. It's still not done. Loot needs a LOT of work. But this is the "It boots enough to make sure zombies, POI's, quests and progression work" build. :)
Hoping for a september stable release at this rate and an august experimental release. So fingers crossed!

Just a simple message to give you all an update on where the mod is at. Do not take this as a "It's nearly done", more like a "it's nearly ready for the testers to find my broken shit". ;)

So you know how we have zombies in DF that use a variety of particle effects? This is one of the replacements.
Specifically, these are the "tough" zombies that used to have the smoke around them. This is just a material tint, so should be a lot better for performance whille still remaining fairly obvious.
The plan is to do this for demons as well. :)

Alright folks, i'm gonna post this in discord as well, but I want your opinions.
From what I've been told, TFP are already working on A21.1 and plan a LOT of bug fixes. Now let's be honest here...
A21.0 is a fucking shit show.
Servers can't keep up so chunk's don't render, people fall through the world, vehicles and drones are disappearing, there's the triple-crit thing going on...
So I'm thinking of waiting for A21.1 for DF release.

One of the good things about separating out a few DF features, is I can update them to work on A21 individually and then just add them into DF once they're done.
It makes the whole process much easier.
One of the things folks wanted was the Wandeering Horde mod so you can make it happen more often, with more zombies, etc.

Ok, this is a big post. I've been thinking about some changes to the DF crafting perks for A21, since i'm going to have to re-do the progression file anyways when that drops.

Right, wanted to give you all a quick update on what's going on.
Streamer apps for A21 are open on the forums now. I have access already because I did in A20, so that's nice. It means we're probably looking at May/June for experimental. DF work will start as soon as that streamer weekend is over.
I MIGHT stream it. I'll see how I feel at the time.

With A21 right around the corner, I thought I'd better give you all an update with regards to Darkness Falls.
Based on the past release, I think we're looking around July for A21 experiemental release. We just had the first dev stream and it's usually 2-3 months after that when it goes into experimental. Given that TFP love to hit their steam sales, I'm expecting around July.

Right, further info.
Bot reconnected and it's stopped kicking random people, so that's fixed. Yay!
Now the downside. For patreons, you HAVE to disconnect discord from here, and then reconnect it or it still won't apply the role properly.
Why? I have no idea, and I am very sorry for the inconvenience. It's since they "updated" it so it should run better.

So the bot that is supposed to give you guys special access in the discord server... has decided to start removing access to the server from NON Patreons.
Which is not ok.
I've disconnected it from the discord server for now. Which means if you need access, I'll have to do it manually.

The last build everyone got, was B2. Been quite a few fixes and tweaks since then, so I'm including all the patch notes for every build since B2.
