I just got my energy renewal for the year.
The 2 images included are what I've been offered. The cheaper one is the "variable" rate, while the more expensive one is the "fixed for 1 year" rate.

Someone much, much smater than me made a mod which allows you to add paint to the paint brush.
So I added the textures from the bunker. This means players can paint their bases to look like the bunker if they so wish.
However, the next bit is the important bit.
You know how zombies can see through walls in both bunkers? That's because they're external 3D models and the game has issues with external 3D models and line of sight (I have been told this will be fixed in A21).<...

Yes, that is the latest public version of DF running on my Steam Deck. :)
There are some caveats, which I will list.
1) You MUST turn all the options for video down to low, or it'll crash due to lack of RAM.
2) You MUST stick to a 6k map (with or without compo pack) or it'll crash due to lack of RAM.
I'm not sure if the steam deck has virtual memory like windows does. I know linux does, and it's called a swap file, but I don't know if it's enabled by default, so I need...

Alright, so one of the Patreons made a really good suggestion, that I am absolutely going balls deep into (that's what she said).

This is the entityclasses file re-written. Finally. After a couple of weeks because it was that bad that I needed to walk away or I was going to lose my fucking marbles.
This is also one of the worst files. Blocks, Buffs, Entityclasses and Items were the worst. 3 out of 4 of those are now done.

Tested on my youtube save and I was able to upgrade from 4.03 with 0 issues. Also tested on both 20.4 and 20.5 experimental with no issues.

As a follow up to my last post, here's some more info!
So what I did, was I made a shortcut to the non-EAC executable file and put it on my desktop.
In that shortcut, I then added -UserDataFolder=D:\DarknessFalls to it
On my D: drive, I made a folder called DarknessFalls and then copied the Mods folder to it. That's the Mods folder you'd normally put in the 7DTD directory.
Run the shortcut, and it loads the mod from d:\DarknessFalls AND keeps copies of saves and RW...

Okay, so this isn't that exciting, but I'm excited, so I thought I'd share.

Alright everyone! Alpha 20.4 went stable and Darkness Falls is ready! I'm giving you folks semi-early access (about an hour while I upload to other sites) and alt links so you don't have any traffic issues and can get all your shit updated.

Right, with 20.4 likely going live at some point, I thought I'd better give everyone an update on what the hell is going on.

Now 4.02 is out, I thought I'd share what I'm currently planning for the next version of Darkness Falls.
First, it'll be version 4.1, which will absolutely be a "restart required" build. The reason for that, is I'm planning to go through the progression file, remove some perks that aren't needed and combine them with others to help streamline progression a little bit.

Being honest, this is basically the B3 build you folks got, but with some minor fixes.
- Updated for A20.3b3.
- Backend code tidy up for better performance.
- Small tweak that should resolve Eve quest issues.
- Porkins Shotgun shouldn't degrade as quickly.
- Drone should now heal when it has the healing mod and appropriate items (but not the paramedic kit for some reason).
Doesn't cause progression loss if you're already running B3.
